Oh yeah. He signed it because that provision was a small part of a larger agreement moving towards peace in the middle east. If the israeli-palestinian conflict was over now, not prosecuting a few people for their past crimes would have been seen as a good tradeoff. It's only in hindsight, because that attempt at peace failed, that this is now seen as a bad move.

Why is our military based around worst case scenarios whether or not they are likely to happen, but the environmental policy of many is to ignore the worst case scenario (global warming)?

I believe there is a fallacy somewhere in there.

I'm by no means a "tree-hugger" or "liberal", so don't put me in that group. I am joining the Army here in a little bit. But I am still concerned about the environment. I'm not suggesting stop all logging or stop driving cars, but we sure could do better.

hello mcfly, israel also signed off on the agreement because they evidently had no problem with this as well.

any president would have signed it if they thought it would bring about peace - the peace process was going well at that time then until rabin was killed by an israeli terrorist.

WhiteWater?
Monica? No problem with the hummer, but don't lie to me.
Kennith Star?
Vince Foster?
Renting out the Lincoln bedroom for contributions?
Ms Flowers?
Paula Jones?
Firing Whitehouse employees to hire cousins?
joyflights in the Whitehouse Helicopter?
Attempting to neutar the military. Reducing pay, training, equipment upgrades, etc etc...
What about all those crap pardons?

etc etc etc...

Sorry Clinton was not responsible for the Huge upswing in the Economy. If you really think the current president actually effects current economy that much you are smoking the good stuff. Bozo the clown could have been in office and had the same results. The Dotcom burst was large part of that and unless you REALLY think Gore made the Internet....
In Fact I blame Clinton for the dive after his term and 9/11.

Thank god we didn't have Gore in the presidency. He would still be worried about owls instead of terror and the victims.

Then again maybe he finally read enough studies that say that global warming is BS?
'nuff said.

Indeed. Global Warming is BS. Look at the temps of the world as a whole and don't pick and choose cities.

11 mobile chem labs never accounted for found buried in the middle of the desert with markings on the ground so they aren't lost have nothing to do with WMD. I am sure they were making paint.

Ok Red Dawn. What DID Mr Clinton do for US? I wasn't blaming 9/11 on Clinton, but him and the act on the economy.

Though, the administrations blindness to terrorism and ineffectual Intelligence gathering may have actually resulted in 9/11 /shrug

"Clinton got a hummer or two, he denied it..."

Clinton did everything he could to save his sorry ass from facing justice in the Paula Jones lawsuit. Everything that happened to him because of that, serves him right. Maybe there is justice after all!

i love how folks dig up the past but choose to ignore current things going wrong. no administration is free from flaws. if you are going to be critical, be critical of who's currently holding office. blaming crap on clinton isn't going to change the course of history. clinton is no longer running things. wake up and get over it.

Well, I'm trying my best, but I only see a few flaws with the current admin.

Patriot Act II.
Anything that remotely resembles faith-based funding.
Homeland Security is perhaps recieving a bit too much funding.
Divident tax not eliminated. (No, I don't own stock. I could only wish.)
G.W., if he has enough time in his busy schedule, should take some public speaking classes. The man gives his opponents too much necessary ammo simply because he's not a great public speaker.

Am I missing anything?

The FBI agent is NOT the President or Vice-President. His political affiliation is absoutely inconsequential.

Or maybe its not? Maybe I should point out how R. Kelly was a liberal, and he molests children! OMG, ALL LIBERALS MOLEST CHILDREN!
And Pee Wee Herman, he's a liberal too!! And I bet OJ Simpson was a liberal!

Or I could simply not draw stupid conclusions based on a criminal's political affiliation. I suggest you do the same.

They said the same thing about Ronald Regan when he was in office: the light of history is shining rather favorable upon him more now that it ever did while he was in office.

What for creating the biggest deficit in history by his insatiable military spending? Only now to be surpassed by Bush Jr? Don't tell me you believe the BS that Reagan somehow was responsible for the implosion of the Soviet Union.

Clinton will be remembered for residing over a presidency of unsurpassed prosperity, progressive enviromental policies, international support, and actually having a surplus, which was all squandered by this administration. Only thing Republicans will remember Clinton by is his relationship with Monica and ignore everything else.

Bush and Bush Jr vs Clinton

So very true. Sad, isn't it? :(

I suugest you practice what you preach! Your tired Rhetoric just plays for the other Neo Conservatives here. Stop yer whining because after 8 years of Neo Conservative high pitched squeeling those who aren't in your hipocritical camp are tired of it.

I suggest you stop drawing conclusions.

I'm not a conservative. I'm not a neo conservative. If you'd like to know my political affinity, you could simply ask nicely.

Thanks for playing.

Hey, I think most politicians are spit-worthy. Bush may show to be more spit-worthy than Clinton. It could even go beyond that into urination and grave-stomping.

I would also suggest learning to spell. You'd be amazed how far you can get in the world with proper spelling and grammar.
