Do a search and check for some collectors sites on google or something, find out how much this stuff is worth. If his offer seems reasonable, I'd end it early, sell the 5 books he wants to him and then relist the rest. For all I know those books are some huge collectors item and worth 10 times that, but I doubt it. It seems more likely he is a personal fan of old sierra stuff and has his own collection. Do some research!

So. If this guy is so hot and bothered for getting hte 5 book for $400 that he wants you to end the auction, they are probably worth way more than that ...... think about it, how else would this make sense?
Tell him $1000 and he can have them![]()

Yeah, that's it... It's only at $12 right now. which is why I'm seriously considering ending it early.

Almost all the bidding is in the last 24 hrs of the auction, and even moreso the last few minutes. If you go into 'my ebay' and look at the auction, how many people does it say are watching the auction?

Ya most likely or they might actually be worth more tempting people to do a search on them and the bid will start going higher and higher and he'll lose out. I suggest you search and search fast for how much these things could be worth. Contact Atari directly and see what they say. Good luck!

That softporn game is the one that's the plot for LSLarry (original). I remember playing that game... and then playing Larry when it came out and was like, WTF, same game now with graphics.
Do you have all the original discs/games too? If so, why are are you selling just the manuals. If not, what happened to 'em, just curious?

while I couldn't access this site at work, the google description shows the Commodore 64/128 version of the Wizard and the Princess selling at $3.
You can download the PC version of this game here.
Roberta Williams designed this game. Remember her from the old King's Quest games. Wonder what she's working on lately.

That's $79.00 for just one of them. I'm betting that softporn one is worth big $$$. Be a gambler and just let it ride.

Hi Jim,
Thanks for the e-mail.
With an offer like that I am guessing it can be only one person...'jeffcowe'
I would be careful of him for he is a con artist and a credit card scammer.
Read here for more information about this slimeball:
http://www.vintage-sierra.com/fraud.html
On-Line Systems games tend to fetch a reasonable amount so I would say it
would be in your best interest to let the auction run its course and you may
be pleasantly surprised. Heh, I might even bid as I am looking for Softporn
Adventure.
Again if the offer is in fact from 'jeffcowe' I urge you not to take it. If
something goes wrong, i.e. credit card charge back etc, you have no recourse
since the deal was made outside of ebay.
Even if it isn't 'jeffcowe' tell the person to bid $400 and maybe he/she
will win it legitimately, know what I mean?
If you have any other questions feel free to ask I am happy to help. Good
luck with your sale, maybe we will be talking again in 5 days to discuss
shipping and payment options![]()
