I do read some in my case, but the authenticity of the sources on your 'side' is highly suspect; that's why we frequently refuse to take it in. And I don't mean "because it's not from our point of view," I mean because the sources have a demonstrated history of lying (see: Breitbart, InfoWars) or are very obviously partisan. Imagine if I threw a DailyKOS article at you; would you consider that an objective source? It doesn't help that you yourself have a tendency to invent non-existent figures that we have to debunk (I still remember that Syrian refugee demographic thread).

Here's the thing: it's not enough to simply link an article or post a video, even they themselves cite others. It's the credibility of sources that matters. Do they fact-check? Do they present info in an accurate context? If they make mistakes, do they take corrective action or double down? Take Breitbart, for example: it bought into a fake story about a "Muslim mob" setting fire to a church, and got defensive when this was proven to be false. Other hard-right sites latched on to the story, too. It's impossible to take a site seriously if it not only posts a fake story that suits its agenda, but refuses to own up to its mistake (assuming it wasn't deliberate).

I'm not sure. I think that it and the truth agree on some of the events just because of what leaks out when he's really worked up. I'd be willing to guess that there's some overlap between his views and some seriously dysfunctional behaviors that meant that custody went really terribly for him that he can't bring himself to acknowledge, so it's all about those eeeeevil SJWs treating him like a pariah because of an imagined emotional reaction to his stated views rather than the dysfunctional basis that's at the root of those views. There's likely a common thread that his views are reconciling with the world as observed.

George Elwood Tschaggeny was arrested Friday wearing the wedding ring of Ricky Best, according to a news release from the Portland Police Bureau. Police say Tschaggeny was previously caught on surveillance footage carrying the Best’s backpack after the incident.

The backpack contained “personal items important to the Best family,” detectives said in a statement.

Some of Best’s possessions ― including his wallet ― were missing from the backpack when officers recovered it. Tschaggeny is facing multiple charges, including second-degree theft and second-degree abuse of a corpse.
