We should be seeing daily new impeachment charges brought against Trump but I doubt Democrats, with their utilitarian sense of expedience, would judge such actions to be wise. We have a democracy that is dead and run by a criminal organization. Everybody knows the answer but nobody will act.

To Trump and his allies, Inspector Generals are a threat to their agenda for unquestionable top down control of all gov't agencies without oversight, nor do they have tolerance for any patriotic whistle blowers who see and report those acts of malfeasance that the Trump crime organization have a tendency to rely on.

And now that Trump has cowed 99% of the Repubs in the legislature into turning a blind eye toward his shenanigans and have allowed him free reign to lord over them with such arrogance and contempt, we now have what is in fact a fascist state operating within a democracy with practically no way to oversee it which is precisely the only way Trump can "manage" the nation with his crippled dysfunctional style of leadership.

Giving him four more years of his style of criminal behavior is unthinkable.

Everone knows everything works better without any inspectors constantly looking over your shoulder. Food safety in restaurants, environmental protection around chemical plants, worker safety in heavy industry... List is endless really.

There can be no peace and no success for the US as long as a single Trump supporter continues to hold a public, voting opinion. This is a cancer that most be eliminated for western democracy to survive.

What's amusing and scary is they rail against "tyranny" and imaginary corruption, but they'll never lift a finger to fight against actual tyranny and real corruption. As long as they can buy their guns to continue playing backyard militiaman, they won't care if the rest of government falls into a corrupt shell of itself.
