Famous being Linus Pauling, the Nobel prize winning nutter :D

Courtesy of: Oregon State University | Linus Pauling Institute

"In 1962, during the Kennedy administration, the Pauling's were invited to a special party at the White House honoring Nobel laureates. Dr. Pauling spent the day outside the gates carrying a placard that protested atmospheric nuclear testing."

So the actual war is between educated and non-educated? I don't know if that is 100% the case. Don't the educated actually develop more factions amongst themselves? And then there are people on whose minds no amount of education can make any dent and they stick to their dogmatic beliefs.
If you are referring to the growing divide between conservative and liberals in this country, I would say education is only one of several contributing factors that divide Americans politically. Much more important is household income, race, exposure to other cultures. These are all determinants of one's political perspective.

You people are funny, it really does not matter what source I link you will just say it's a bad source.
Hm, there could be a lesson there for someone capable of introspection.
People are either completely ignorant about what is going on in the world these days, or in denial, and just want to pretend everything is ok even when stuff is literally catching on fire everywhere.
This is especially amusing because you probably can't see how these statements might be connected.

What if the whole reason for the conservative / conspiracy mindset, was down to something basic, something physiologically deficient, such as lack of a mineral. (Selenium?)

Thanks for pointing out a link between mental issues and nutrient deficiencies. Wow. So if I get crazy thoughts in future, must visit doc immediately for complete nutrient testing.

If anything I'd target B-12. Lots of people don't absorb it via food, assuming they eat meat at all, and deficiency will make you batty over time.

You know it's POSSIBLE that calling people "stupid" and being mean to them isn't the BEST was to get them to see reason. (which can be done)

Just putting it out there. ;)

probably, but I ran out of patience long ago. Everyone gets a chance, but then when they continue on the path of easily observable dumbshittery on certain subjects (or all of them), I have no choice but to conclude that they are simply stupid with no hope to improve their station. So, it's just a public service to remind them that they are stupid.

The American Association of Meat Processors, the North American Meat Institute, the National Chicken Council, the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), the National Fire Protection Association, the Associated Press, Reuters, fire officials investigating each case, Snopes, Politifact, even Glenn Beck and Tucker Carlson Tonight have said there is no suspicious activity going on (although the Tucker Carlson Tonight statement came AFTER Carlson mentioned it.

Instead of all these sources, and probably others that I failed to mention, Red prefers to believe Twitter/Reddit individuals touting conspiracies that have no basis in fact.

There is nothing more we can do.

Sadly, I could see years from now, Red living alone in his off the grid house and going down the Ted Kaczynski path. :(

Most of these are seen by actual people who were on the scene of these fires. Sources from individual people on the scene or nearby are often the most reliable because there's no filter. The mainstream sources are trying to make everybody believe that everything is ok in the world when in reality it's not and often fail to report stuff altogether. Lots of sinister stuff going on more or less in line with agenda 2030/great reset "conspiracy theories" but mainstream media does not acknowledge any of it. The classic "this is fine" approach. Those of us who see things as they are get shat on for going against the grain but we're the ones in the end that will be better prepared. Only thing I regret is not buying my land years ago when it was cheaper so I'd be more ahead by now. But got to start at some point.
