I'm still boggled by this. So did the mom + dad smother the 4 people with pillows or something, then plant their bodies in the car, then put it in neutral and push it in the canal?

Somehow I can't see that happening. There were no obvious stab wounds or anything, so they either drowned or were suffocated.
