I hear ya. Got 2 kids myself, and SVU is one of my favorite shows. Freaks me out, but it makes me more aware as a parent.
Just remember that this kind of thing was not very common back in the good old days when mothers stayed home to raise their children, like they should, instead of shoving them off to daycare/school for someone else to watch.

I think it was probably as or more common in the old days, and a lot less known.

What a badly written article, but useful for proving the 'moving the goalposts' idea.
The four radical-right justices have now shifted the goalposts of left and right, for that reporter at least, enough that now they moderate and conservate five justices, indlucing justices appointed by Republicans, are 'the five liberal justices', and the radicals are simply the 'four more conservative justices'.
It's like saying that communists who are not as radical are 'conservatives', and the most radical communists are 'more liberal'.
But it influences public opinion and helps get the 'new' definitions of left and right, what's radical and not where the four right-wing Federalist radicals are accepted as one of the two sides, so that the radicals are not seen as radicals - and even previous non-radical justices if appointed today would be 'radical'.
We're one justice from a disastrous destruction of our legal system's precedents.

I did not lie, nor did I suggest he mollested his own children. However, it was obvious from the transcript that he did suggest he wanted to mollest those children in his home.
There are reportedly facts, that he was in the Dominican Republic, apparently well-known as a top spot for sex tourism with children; that he had taken Viagra with him, which is only useful for one thing, sex acts; that he had used it, which is usually only done in conjuntion with a sex act.
You fail to say anything about what the facts imply, instead dodging and pointing out that not all the facts are known. Why don't you deal with the facts for a change?
You come up with a plausible explanation for the facts which does not involve him likely engaging in illicit sex. You think it's more likely that with his George Clooney good looks he met up in a bar with a cute gal for hot consensual sex not involing his millions, not for anything paid? No one's saying there's proof. But the facts are incriminating enough for speculation about what's likely and plausible. If he was seen going to a crack house across town and trading cash for a small bag, it might not be crack. But not likely.
I wasn't even aware of this story until this thread, and I'm not taking a position on the facts, I'm just pointing out how evasive you are to the reported facts.
