Seriously. All it will do is desensitize you to what the monsters are doing.
I pray for non-violent Muslims if this sort of thing continues. It's only going to get worse and worse for you all if you keep letting the monsters have the loudest voices in your community. Since 9/11 the world's opinion of Islam has gotten worse and worse, year after year.

You know what it is and what happened, what's there to be curious about? You want to see how he contorts or which way the blood falls, or how his screams sound and then rationalize it by saying you were just curious? I find that to be a bit demented.

It's one thing to hear about it, it's something totally different to watch it.
If you don't want to watch it, that is your choice, just as you may not want to watch a horror flick.
Sh!t like this doesen't even phase many of us anymore. Getting all up in arms and going "OMGWTFBBQ" is what they want us to do.
It has nothing to do with being "demented", unless you're some wacko that gets his jollies off watching people die. It isn't like that. It is merely more data to put into the pot we call our brains.
It's a sad state of affairs that a human life ending is nothing more than data for a pot, not to mention that many of our generation is desensitized to it. I guess I've just seen too much to be "curious" any more, carry on.

You don't have to be tunnel-visioned. Christianity in the Middle Ages produced the Torquemada and the Spanish Inquisition. That was pretty sick and unenlightened, too. However, that was what, 6-700 years ago?
Western civilization needs to advance beyond the need for oil to power industry, at which point we can leave the Islamic world alone to fester in their burqas and filth and human rights abuses. (The only problem with this is that Islam wants to spread, and it cannot tolerate other religions very well...)

I guess I agree with you in principle, I mean.. nobody in their right mind is going to condone human rights violations and stuff.
It still goes on today, even though it isn't as..headline grabbing.. as a beheading. Isn't the Klu Klux Klan a decidedly Christian organization?
I guess we can agree that religion is the evil here.

This is exactly why we need to stop getting fed this stuff. If they have no outlet, they have no cause to scream for. Didn't we already take out one of their sites before ? Take out their broadcasting streams and we won't have to feel it everytime they take an innocent. It's not an issue of turning our head... it's an issue of stopping them from delivering their message loud and clear each time. How's it benefit us ? In no way does it.
And BTW, anyone stopping for car accidents needs to be shot. :|

Why does everyone use the KKK as an example of a Christian organization? I thought their agenda was racial -- not religious.
The Washington Beltway Sniper was a Muslim -- but I never thought of him as a Islamic terrorist -- just a nut case who happened to be Muslim. Why? Because he never brought religion up.
However, al-Qaeda always brings up religion as the reason. Their agenda is based on religion.
The abortion bombers are a legitimate example of a Christian based terrorist organization.... but I don't think the KKK is.
I agree. It's very alarming to me how desensitized a lot of people here seem to be -- to the point of making jokes and stuff. Very depressing too. Just reading a bit of the description (from CNN) of the horrific act is enough to haunt me for the next couple of days -- I can't imagine even watching it.

You may wonder why the U.S. millitary does nothing to stop these executions. This is because there are huge parts of Iraq where the U.S. millitary is scared shiiteless of going into, after the Faluja incident last year in which a couple of boys were barbequed and put on display around town by the Iraqis. GWB doesn't want to risk any more bad press, so he lets the Iraqis have a free reign in various trouble spots, while occasionally bombing them in hopes that it keeps them in check.
You honestly believe these beheadings are the work of 5 men?? that is one of the more inaccurate and false statements in the history. Terrorism requires lots of money, support and whole lot of other things. It just doesnt happen outta nowhere. Its not 5 men, just because you see only 5 men in the video doesnt make it so

So when the Oklahoma City bombing occurred, can you prove that you publically (in this forum or otherwise) made a statement denouncing McVey, Nichols, and their actions?
Because if you didn't, I'd be inclined to believe you supported them.
EDIT: *In fact*, any white person who didn't immediately denounce the bombing must've been all for it, since they were white just like McVey and Nichols.
