Wait a sec. The only dash-mounted control I recall on those cars was the Ram Air knob, which opened up the hood scoops.

Next question ;

What was the first modern American car with a overhead cam engine ?

Pontiac again, with the Sprint OHC 6. Available with a 4bbl carb, and up to 215hp!

You in a Pontiac mood today? ;)

Oooh, your good, very good :)

This one is so obscure that I will guarantee that no one will EVER get this ;

When Chevy and Ford came out with the Pinto and Vega, what did Plymouth come out with ?

Plymouth Arrow?

Hey, what about that Ram Air knob question, Rog? (see my previous post)

Nope, the knob opened the exhaust :)

1971 Plymouth Cricket AKA the Hellman Avenger (English, this car was impoted to America to compete with the Vega and Pinto)

Continue on guys, I have to put my little guy to bed, goodnight, I had fun :)

Yup, Transverse Torsion Bar suspension. It had some very strange geometry issues under hard cornering.
