My question is this: according to M4H's analysis, the max damage for nature is 9,000 and for ice is 7335. Statistically, nature is superior. However, it has a slower rate of fire than ice (as said by a poster above). Is the difference in damage between nature and ice enough to justify a nature only strategy or should one do an ice only strategy because of the higher rate of fire despite the lower damage?

EDIT: Unless someone beats me to it, I'll try an ice only strategy when I get back from playing racquetball (1.5hrs).

I got to 78 with nature

Yes nature has more damage, but a fully upgraded ice if placed properly can reach the ENTIRE path... so it has a better DPS

After reading the thread on digg, a couple of tricks/cheats to try out:
Run the game full screen and resize your browser so that its taller than it is wide. Two nature towers above the start of the path is very effective

You can stack multiple towers in one place by right clicking where you want to place the new tower then left clicking on a valid area.

Finally, useless but funny bug: hold down spacebar after a level and your level will continue to increase. No real point since it just makes it harder

Using the first two "tricks":

Level 86

Did you "cheat" or do it legitimately? Either way, can you post a SS?

Legit. Still experimenting, and it's late, so no SS.

Basically a clone of bobdelt's strategy - nature towers at the end of long stretches. They really seem to get a much higher ROF that way.

I tried this, as well. Do you put nature towers facing ---> dots <--- as in front and back or just facing the dots?

ice tower in the right spot can reach the whole board, but is the decreased rate of fire worth it... hrmmm

Level 80, no tricks

The bottom 4 are important, but the rest I'm not sure yet

I think the bottom 4 are overkill, actually. You don't need them to be in a straight line, like that. I'll work on a strat and see what I come up with. I'll use some of yours and M4H's.

EDIT: GRRRRR DISAPPEARING WEAPS!!!!!! God, that pisses me off.

Level 79 The circled ones aren't the fully upgraded 1100 ones. I'd imagine I could milk a few more levels outta it.
