I didn't say it was before or after this thread started.
But while we're on the topic, you've mentioned your disbelief of fairies and invisible people in the clouds NUMEROUS times in this thread.

It's almost like you're trying to convince yourself of something....

Yes, because anyone who doesn't ascribe to your twisted beliefs is a Pagan ... you know, all the Jewish, Islamic, Muslim, Buddists of the world ... it's all a sham. We really just go home at night, dance around a fire, sacrifice goats and eat unborn children.

Yep. While I doubt you participate in Luciferian ritual worship, you might as well be if you're not following Yeshua. There is only one path to salvation and that is Yeshua. If you're not saved, you're a pagan. Does that do it for you?
I like when you tell me I'm going to a place I don't even believe in. Hey, if you don't believe in Bigfoot, you're going to the deep dark woods of eterinty when you die.

Another good try, but you still lose. ;)

Here's the problem with your little twist of logic: there's no logic behind it. There is no religion of bigfoot worship, and even if there was it wouldn't be based on logical thought or any kind of historical record. Just because you don't believe in something doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

Now you're not making any sense. If you wanted to stake a similar claim you would keep repeating "2 + 2 != 5" as if it constituted empirical proof of something and exposed your great enlightenment above all other people.

But either way it doesn't. I'm not sure what I've lost, but apparently it wasn't you continuing to blather, so it must not have been that great.

You do when it comes from yourself. You would do well to just stop responding to people... it doesn't seem to be doing any good, just riling everyone up. Unless trolling was your intention from the beginning...

i think the reason agnostics/athiests see religion as so absurd/humorous is because to us, religious people believe in imaginary beings much akin to JackBurton's "invisible magic people that live in the clouds." We see religion with the same kind of skepticism as religious people see the easter bunny. That's why JackBurton's examples are so poignant.

I don't think you have the capacity to understand what I am saying. The equation 2+2=4 is common sense. However, 2+2=5 is what these insane people want everyone to accept as fact. So here you go man, check out the sig, 2+2=4. I am strongly defending my equation. I must believe deep down inside that 2+2=5 though in your mind. ;)

No, self-righteous bragging and generally behaving like a self important ass are offensive to everyone. Your posts here make it all too clear that you use your faith as a means of stroking your ego. Learn to use it to love your fellow man. Look at Jesus' (or whatever name you choose to call Him by) actions. Whom did he welcome? The non-believers, the sinners, the tax collectors. Whom did he chastise? The "righteous" religious men of the day.

Look I know you are trying to pass yourself off as an intellectual and a nuetral party, but you are making yourself look worse than the "fairy believers." You make the above statement, but before that you said the following:
But while we're on the topic, you've mentioned your disbelief of fairies and invisible people in the clouds NUMEROUS times in this thread.

It's almost like you're trying to convince yourself of something....
You say repetition proves nothing but then you say I'm trying to hide something because I've repeated myself? Good "God" man, I think you are qualified to write the second version of the Bible, with contradictions and all. ;)

Like I said, trying to be a neutral party in this arguement makes you look even worse than the "sky fairy believing psychopaths." Let's take a step back and see how you look with your arguements:

Me: There is no such thing as Tinkerbell.

Tinkerbell Believers: Yes, there is. There was a book written about Tinkerbell and all her magic. She can even sprinkle pixie dust on you and make you fly. You just have to believe.

Jzero: You guys are both dumb. You each have a side you strongly believe in and there is no reason to mock the other side.

I only see one sane person in that dialog, and it isn't TB or JZ. ;)

Criticising non-believers is the single most effective method of causing them to remain non-believers. It does not make you a better in His eyes if you criticise and thus drive away those whom He would have come to Him. Your self-righteousness is nothing other than a stumbling block in the way of those who do not believe. They see your actions and their prejudices against those they see as Christian are confirmed in their eyes.

"Woe to the world because of stumbling blocks! Occasions for stumbling are bound to come, but woe to the one by whom the stumbling block comes." Matthew 18:7

So let me get this straight. According to *your* interpretation of the Bible, pointing out iniquity in one's fellow man is "placing a stumbling block in his path"? I don't hate the pagans, I just hate their sins (along with mine and everyone else's). If a few words from one man causes another man to forsake the L-rd without possibility of re-acceptance, then that man was already doomed.
