post the # and we will all call them. Between all the members here we can give them about 4000-5,000 calls a day.

as long as I don't get banned... FoBoT?

he can't ban you outright, he'd have to tell an old mod if i understand correctly.

I think that he would eighter warn him and tell him to edit it out or just remove it and leave a note.

yeah, he probably has at least 5 min, before a mod takes it out and warns him

Have you notified your telephone company to see if they can do something?

Yeah I have Vonage and I explained the situation and they do not have a block feature.

I have somebody (sometimes its a guy other times its a woman) that calls all the time. Sometimes 20 times in one day. Sometimes at 3 and 4 in the morning. They say hardly anything, when they do I can not hear well enough and they they speak broken English. I'm wondering what I can do to fix the situation. I have told them numerous time to stop calling.

any ideas? I was thinking of getting an air horn

You could answer the phone:

"Immigration and Naturalization Service. Can I help you?"

similar thing happens on my work phone, random calls from michigan numbers...unfortunately mine is a very "ghetto" sounding person, and they usually call around 3am.

Well, if it's a cell phone, add the number to your contact list and set a custom ring tone to <none> if your phone offers it.

If he's calling your land line, look into Selective Call Rejection by dialing *60 and following the prompts. (This *should* be standard on pots lines in the US, but I'm not at work and don't have access to the manuals that detail that feature.)

Unless you want someone to call and harass him back.

oh great , an actual useful answer

now you ruined it all

Does *60 work with Vonage? I wouldn't think so, if they already told him they can't block numbers...

LOL. A few years ago I had to go buy a fax machine to hook up to my phone line so some idiots fax could finally go through. He was trying to send documents to his CPA. He had two numbers reversed. I faxed them back to him with a note written on the first page. Then I returned the fax.

The calls stopped after that.

The other problem is when ever I dial it, it's either busy or just now I got a recording saying it wasn't in service. in that case I'll go ahead and add it to the main post

That is almost creeeappy. Really.
Thats not creepy.
I get calls from bogus numbers all the time.
Apparently, if you know what you're doing its easy to spoof caller ID.

I have a problem with getting messages from Nigerian scammers, they all call with the same script "This is the executor for (add Nigerian name) etc." they leave voicemails, and usually call with their number blocked. I got my phone through the Sprint SERO plan that was posted in Hot Deals, and I can't complain too much cause I only pay $35-36 a month, and get unlimited internet and text messages.
