No I disagree pcgeek and this is why. She called multiculturalism a problem more than 3 years ago if you do some research. Despite this she took in 800,000 refugees this year and when she saw that she might lose the next election due to that, she's back to saying it again.

I think actions speak louder than words.
 
Uhm, Germany has taken in a massive amount of refugees. They've done their part. There is a point at which a country can't take in any more. This says nothing to the US's contribution.

I have a different take on it. She called it wrong years ago and despite that she bent over to the politically correctness and took in 800K refugees. Now that germany is taking it in the shorts, she understands how her actions were screwed up and they ( Germany ) will be paying for it for a long time.
 
I think the only way Germany pays for it is if the EU as a collective stops using the Euro. They are generating tons of Euro at the moment and can print more so it's not really a problem outside of making sure people assimilate.

Read the article about the Rape Epidemic. Color me not surprised. I was deployed to the UAE a little after the shooting stopped in Desert Storm. We had a female mechanic from A division jump in the front seat of a taxi to meet us at the USO bar. Anyways, the driver immediately pulled out his cock and started jacking off in front of her.

Europe's well fucked, and the women are getting the worst of it. Not surprising, really, when you bring in people that worship Mohamad; a child molester, a rapist, a slaver and a sex slaver...Among other things.

On a related note, Pat Condel did a seething video a while back concerning the insane amount of rape going on in Sweden due to Muslims, as well as providing a bunch of sources in the description.

You might want to do a little homework on what those refugees have been doing to Germany in the last couple years and ask yourself if you want those problems in your back yard.

I know you want to make a grand show of how much you support the muslim migrants and want to believe the sad story of how they're fleeing from war and believe they'll be super-duper grateful to you for your kind show of internet support.

Its interesting, wonder how the crime demographics will change in Europe now that they are getting their taste of low educated, low assimilated, low morality, high crime, foreigners invading their country unfettered. Wonder how that'll be when they have no weapons.

Depends on who you talk to. NPR had a report of a refugee in Germany finally being able to get his master's degree in civil engineering and trying to get his family moved over. Not one mention of him raping anyone. During a massive movement of people there will be increases in crime especially with the quantity of people being moved. This is natural with any homeless population. That is the reason every country need to pitch in and give support, so we can spread the load and not have clusters of thousands of homeless. The faster they integrate, the faster the crisis is over. Sending them back or refusing entry just prolongs the struggle because they will be back.

It's already changing. One of the links MajinCry posted showed that one out of every 4 Swedish women will be raped now with the huge increase in rapes due to the immigrations.

The numbers are unfathomable. In many of these countries the immigrants are 3x to more than 30x more likely than locals to commit violent crimes.

They've invited hundreds of thousands of new immigrants into their countries that have no intention of integrating, adding to the millions already there who are not integrated and causing more and more problems. I don't see a real solution for this problem, and I sure as hell don't want the US to take in any more here than we already have. No thanks.

Multiculturalism describes the existence, acceptance, or promotion of multiple cultural traditions within a single jurisdiction, usually considered in terms of the culture associated with an ethnic group.

The US is a great example of this. However, much of the culture of the middle east is diametrically opposed to that of the west. You have to sacrifice some of your cultural beliefs when you assimilate with another culture. Something that isn't currently happening with the flood of refugees to europe. Which is why I say she is correct within this context calling it a delusion. It might eventually happen, but it will take a long ass time.

On its face, the concept of multiculturalism sounds like a good thing.

Sure, take the best elements of many cultures... blend... strengthen the host culture. (Many times this does happen... but not as a matter of instituonalized policy).

The problem of course is the above isn't what happens in actual practice.

What happens is: be forced to accept all elements of other cultures... including the absolute worst, subjugate and sink the host culture, cast the host culture as bigoted and racist if it doesn't comply, tar and feather defenders of the host culture as xenophobes, racists etc.

Good if Merkle is finally calling out the actual practice for what it is... the mandatory tar and feathering be damned.
 
I don't have much of an opinion on German immigration policy. However, she is correct about multi-culturalism being a delusion. It isn't a sound idea and never was.
