Angel being cancelled?

Dammit... when the show was finally starting to get good again. I really liked the "puppet" ep too.

I tend to follow the stuff all the Buffy alumni are doing... Tru Calling isn't that bad but I did miss the fantasy/action element that Angel/Buffy have. Well, the actors/actresses will find work methinks. They're pretty talented and they're young.

My wife is a huge buffy/angel fan.

She says:
1) network says Angle is unprofitable
2) A bunch of affiliate stations are protesting the network's decision b/c Angel is their best revenue generater

She reasons that:
The network is saying they are dropping Angel so that they can get affiliates to pay more for the show.

She is hopeful the show will continue.

Another rumor is the that the network is just bluffing with the cancelation in hopes to boost the shows ratings for the last half of the seasaon.
