While I might prefer stock Android - saying these things should be stopped wholely goes against the spirit of Android. Its an open system. Geeks don't get to have their open-source cake and eat it too.

I love that the fact that the two of you [Mike Arrington, who earlier had called it Google's best phone, because it was the most pure version of Android] love the Nexus One, thank you very much.
But the fact of the matter is that if we were to put those type of restrictions on an open source product, we’d be violating the principle of open source.

See there ya go case closed. It's open and I'm glad it's open. It lets everyone do what they want to it. Don't like the phone with something on it? Get a different Android phone. We have choices in Android land. Choice is what makes this country great.

With that attitude ... let's hope WP7 is good, because people will be standing in line to drop the mess that is android!
