It's like having a Steam sale for your phone. This is good and bad...

This sale is also a nice gateway to other apps on the market (for me at least, I rarely ever browse the market for no reason).

This is great.

I have a number of these through free Amazon deals already, and I'm wondering if there's any reason to reacquire. Amazon updates more slowly, right? Plus the lack of changelog display on their App Store is pretty inexcusable.

The only apps I've ever paid for on Android:
SwiftKey X Keyboard: $3.99 October 1, 2011
SetCPU for Root Users: $1.99 October 7, 2011
Tapatalk Forum App: $2.99 October 8, 2011
Game Dev Story: $3.00 October 9, 2011

Everything else I use is free on Android Market and/or Amazon's App store.
I guess I fit the typical stingy Android user stereotype.

Looks like I will be buying some of these...Which one of these apps is worth buying? I feel like buying all of them since it's just $1, but I also don't want to waste $0.10 on an app I'll never use.

Great Little War Game seems like an "Advanced Wars" kinda game. If it is, I may get it because that was one of my favorite handheld strategy games ever.
SoundHound Not sure about this but I may just get this for novelty value. I don't listen to music that much.
Fieldrunners HD Is this the best tower defense game on Android? If so, I may get it just for the sake of having a Tower Defense game.
SketchBook Mobile Another one for novelty value. I'm not one to just pickup the phone and start drawing stuff. This will be for my little cousins.
Endomondo Sports Tracker PR I don't follow sports...I only care about the olympics, that's it. I don't have a favorite team.
Paper Camera I think I got this as a free app on Amazon a month ago or so. For $0.10, it worth it having the latest update.

fieldrunners is great. endomondo isn't a pro sports tracker, it's a personal fitness tracker, and the best one at that.

I didn't repurchase. Though, for 10cents, maybe throw a little extra support to the various devs.

Picked SwiftKey and fieldrunners from Amazon for free earlier this year, love them both I actually bought them now. On a note how do I get rid of them from showing up in amazon because it wants me to "update"

Amazon updates if the developer releases their updated version to Amazon's Appstore. They usually don't. I've a number of FAotDs that are multiple versions behind the Market versions because so many devs have abandoned Amazon's app store.

For 10 cents, grab them from Market. So much better. 😛

Had to post to say thanks to the OP. I make a habit of checking Amazon every day, the Android market I go weeks without looking at and I certainly would have missed this.

Very much appreciated vshah 😀

Thanks for correcting me on that.
I saw the name "Sports Tracker Pro" and assumed it had something to do with following NFL, NBA, Soccer, ESPN, or other ridiculous things(which I don't really follow much except when they're in the finals) without reading it's summary.

might pick up a TD game and soundhound today.

I grabbed Jelly Defense when it was amazon free app the other day--it's my favorite mobile TD game so far. Trippy music and design, very well done overall.

same. I think I look at the market maybe once/month now. I hit Amazon every morning, heh.

I went ahead and bought all of them regardless of whether I needed them or not.
It's only $1, who cares?

Pfft, its been picked up by every Android blog and site on the planet. 😛

I had them all from Amazon but for that very reason I grabbed them from the Android Market. It's ten freaking cents so it won't kill me.
