Never noticed this, but I don't use stock messaging app. I used to use Handcent, now I use Go SMS
Have tried Handcent and Chomp, just DL'd Go SMS, it's pretty good

Not to troll here, but dont you guys find it fundamentally wrong that you have to download a third party app in order to correct a problem that should work fine on the default version of it?
I thought this issue was fixed in recent android releases?
