Well, I guess the race is over. Thanks for racing me. I know that you weren't able to dedicate as many machines as you would have liked to this race but it was still worth while for sure.
I was able to fine tune my machines in the spirit of competition. My stats now just blow away what I was doing before. If the last 6 hour stretch were to be maintained, I'd be doing 676 points per 24 hours. 4723 points per week.
You were able to increase production by almost three times and the whole thing certainly benefitted the team.
When you sped up I had a lot of work to do to keep ahead and learned a lot from the thinkering.
Getting that 1000 in the 11th hour before the deadline was tough but fun as anything.
I know my Bud Mike just started cracking because of this race and he might even stick with it who knows.
Hopefully you'll be able to keep those extra machines you put together going for the team.
My offer still stands for that SETI thing. I believe most of my machines would be much better suited for that kind of thing. You know where to find me.
I hope I get the opportunity to race you again when you're willing to dedicate more resources to the effort.
Don't wait too long though. I'm increasing my horsepower on a weekly basis.
Those durong 1300s are cheap and fast. Heck, if Athlon XPs keep dropping in price and getting down to the "free with donation to food bank" prices I might start buying them instead.
If you DO wait too long, you might find you won't be able to catch me with everything you've got

I finally have enough room to breath and have some downtime. My production will drop off slightly now as I do some software/hardware maintenance and upgrades.
A great experience and good luck next time!
