At least they spare you the agony of making it into the postseason every year and then losing like little bitches. I swear the Braves are the most annoying team in the world in that respect. :|

You know, what is the deal with the Braves? Haven't they made it to the playoffs for like 13 years in a row (it seems?) but then, THEY ALWAYS CHOKE!!. That really does blow, when it seems like you have the pieces, but get knocked off easily.

Perhaps the NL East is just a weak division, one that is just very easy to get to the top of if your the Braves? I don't know. I'm definitely not an expert, just talking out of my ass.
I dunno....they've just mastered the art of post-season suckage I guess. Seems like everyone forgets how to hit at some point in the playoffs and that's the end of that.

Oh blow me. It was just a dumb joke. You need to lighten up, Francis. 😛

i need to lighten up, or you need to stop
trolling perhaps.
making joke != trolling.

Maybe if I blew you instead? That's supposed to be quite relaxing.

of course, because of different players of different eras came up short time and time again....the 2003 redsox have no shot being only 1 game out with 35 to play.
nice logic 🙂

I was talking about the Braves, not the Sox. Our offense seems to be what sinks us in the postseason every year. Pitching is usually decent, but no run support = no win.

It's between Yankee and Cubs fans. Sox fans should just sit their wannabee fannys back in their green monster seats. 😛

I love this stuff. 😀

Yeah, I've been to a bunch of Sox games at 'Friendly' Fenway in my time, but I'm sure it could NEVER compare to the bleachers at Yankee stadium. You guys out there ARE PSYCHO!!! After all of the stuff I've heard about the place on the Howard Stern show, it sounds like a North Korean 'Re-Education' Camp. But is Shea stadium even worse? I heard fans throw batteries at each other, no joke.

Hehe. I was at the Sox vs. Mariners game the other day (the one the M's won 10-5 after Ichiro hit a grand slam), and was in a section full of BoSox fans. They started chanting: Let's go Boston, Let's go Boston, so we started chanting: 1918, 1918, then 1986, 1986, then finally Let's go Buckner, Let's go Buckner. They weren't happy. 🙂

You'd have to really be a fan of baseball to support a team like that every year. 😀😀

I'm an Oakland fan, but we've got a couple of hurt pitchers and our offense is downright terrible. We've been playing OK but Boston is still in it. The Sox have one of the best-hitting lineups in baseball.

*cries* mulder!

Those chants are incredibly hilarious! You got us good with those burns! Man, I have no idea how to even come back from those extremely witty insults.

Maybe they weren't the wittiest of Sox fans, then. They shut up after the counter chants started, but you've got to admit that "Let's go Boston" isn't exactly clever, and you've got to expect someone to yell back when you're sitting in the bleachers, even if it is the passive-aggressive city of Seattle where people prefer watching the hydro races to the actual game. :|

LOL. I'm a Yankee fan, '86 was a tough year. I couldn't root for anyone in the series.

You think that was a bad year. As a Red Sox fan there was nothing worse than the Subway Series.
I was hoping the earth would open up and swallow both teams.
