it depends if your deaf or your microphone is turned on
That one has been propagating like a virus. Another going big is, intensive purposes. People bitch about grammar Nazis, but it is evident they are losing this war too.

daniel tosh did a bit on it (mute point) last night on his newest episode of tosh.0

If FB is selling the info to FICO me putting a statement on my FB profile that the info cannot be used for commercial purposes would be mute then?
My industry( and, I assume, consumers with no credit) would like a way to judge the trustworthiness of people with no/limited credit experience. "Do you pay your utilities, rent, cell, cable on time" would help these people get a loan where they might not even be able to borrow air otherwise.

As stated, I imagine the fb scoring is a very small part of the total.

For a long time, I had no idea how "a round of a pause" was supposed to work.
So...clap in a circle and then stop? What?

:awe: Brought to you by the people that do sketty wrasslin'.

Well, it's not so much your bank, but it's FICO who's doing it. I believe like any other marketing company, they are paying FB

I thought that Facebook only gave out generalized information for target groups like "pot smoking single females under 25". I didn't think that they could bring up Jane Doe's personal profile and read her stoner posts.

Makes sense. Younger people who haven't figured out how consequences work yet will go and get wasted all the time, and likely will have trouble paying back due to low employment opportunities, and low value of unskilled or minimally skilled work.

These are the people who brag about being drunk all the time.

Do they check internet forums, too? 😀

I make a million bucks a year, pay all my bills ten days before they are due, am married with kids, never smoke or drink or gamble, go to church twice a week and have sex only in the missionary position with the lights off.

AMEX, please PM me on where to send my black card:wub:

You are probably going to join some cult soon and give up the material world, you are categorized as a high risk customer. You credit line has been reduced to shit.

Social media causing people harm is not news.
Being tracked and recorded and predicted causing people harm is not surprising.

People have been warned about facebook, etc. And people brush all warnings aside as tinfoil. Now I get to watch as people complain... and continue to use facebook. The fail is really starting to become hilarious now.

i wouldn't be surprised if there is a corelation. most people who constantly brag about how wasted they are typically aren't very responsible people. of course there are outliers though.

Or quotations... Or telling stories....

My mom got wasted and made a fool of herself at the family reunion. Credit score goes down.

Meh, if you can correlate with bad grammar that would be one thing, but particular words? No. Just no.

Bull shit. I'm agreeing with someone else here that you're 12.

Yeah, that is all well and good except these credit rating agencies are scummy as hell.

What happens when you get dinged because they matched you as a different person on Facebook? Do I get to see what Facebook profile they've matched before I go to get a loan and find out they've got it wrong or do I get to wait for the surprise?

CRAs should not be allowed to report information about you that is not 100% verifiable and I can pretty much guarantee Facebook isn't.
