Nicks was born in Phoenix, Arizona. IMO She was the band. I mean all that counts in when they sell albums and singles right? Not that early 70's junk w/o her.

50/50 now and even then, the Brit rhythm section are founding members. If you count Christine McVie from the Rumours days, Brits are the majority. I'll ignore your "early 70s junk" comment since I consider Peter Green's FM the best one. 🙂

Dude, your CD collection must be a mirror of mine! I'd add Stone Temple Pilots in there, too. Every song/album was awesome and they were unbelievable in concert. Pick up the "Thank You" DVD/CD edition for samples of their concerts if you've never seen them.

The list is fairly accurate as far as an online poll goes. What would you imagine the average age of the voter was?? I would imagine 18-24. That age group has seen Axel Rose go nuts... and Aerosmith perform with BRITNEY SPEARS at the super bowl. That same generation probably grew up with 90's music. I don't care what you think, Pearl Jam is the 90's. The other bands mentioned... soundgarden, nirvana ect. didn't have the longevity. Now, that being said, Tom Petty not making it is a travesty. Same as the Chili Peppers... but that's how the vote turned out I guess. FMQB is calling BS on the poll and is currently doing a revote... here. stop complaining and go vote. and by the way... props to my pj fans in this thread, they fvcking rock... saw them twice in '03 and once in '04.
