argh! I tried to buy it but I can't select in-store pick up since they can't check inventory....guess I have to wait and hope it works tomorrow.

Don't forget to join the ATTF2 group after you get the game.

Good times last night guys!

I don't sleep very well after gaming for 3+ hours but that was fun. I'm heading back tonite.

I've made some changes to the server.

Renamed it finally.

As well as adding a bunch of new custom maps, and revising the mapcycle.

Maps available for play on the server:
tc_hydro
cp_well
cp_granary
cp_dustbowl
cp_gravelpit
ctf_2fort
ctf_well
cp_badlands
cp_broma_b6
cp_corporation_b2
cp_japan_v2
cp_labor
ctf_737
cp_four_trees_v2
cp_dock2_b4
cp_warpath_final
cp_desertfortress

Current map cycle:
cp_dustbowl
cp_granary
cp_warpath_final
cp_badlands
cp_four_trees_v2
cp_gravelpit
cp_japan_v2
tc_hydro
cp_corporation_b2

Thoughts?

What I really need is some webhosting for the fast download URL, or the custom maps will be shortlived :(

Anyone have any hosting they can donate for this?

I have some hosting I could donate. I have plenty of bandwidth I dont use. I dont have a ton of space, but those maps shouldnt take up too much. Send me a PM and we can set it up.

For sure.

I picked up the game today. Since the only thing that came in box was the cd-key I'm reading online about how to play and what the different classes do. Hopefully I'll be up to speed asap.

You are still missing Mach4, possibly the best TF2 map currently in rotation on any server. It is basically the new 2Fort4 since 2Fort4 didn't really transition well to TF2.

Also, Castle3 is a very well done CP map.

Granary isn't worth having in the active map rotation. It is an OK map but compared to the better custom maps it is ultimately a flawed design.

Based on some feedback from skace, and others...new map rotation, and an updated list of what's available for play on the server...

rotation is:
- cp_dustbowl
- ctf_mach4
- cp_warpath_final
- cp_badlands
- cp_four_trees_v2
- cp_gravelpit
- cp_japan_v2
- tc_hydro
- cp_corporation_b2

available for play:
- cp_broma_b6
- cp_labor
- ctf_737
- cp_dock2_b4
- cp_desertfortress
- cp_lazytown
- cp_stag
- cp_aqua
- cp_castle3
- cp_fastlane_b1
- cp_redstone_b2
- cp_sidewinder_b8

HUGE thanks to tomt4535 for hosting the custom maps! :)

^^ looks good man! Now you just need a couple more admins on there to help keep things running smoothly when you're not around.

Anyway, it appears we have Friday and Saturday nights as our winners (sorry Jschmuck), of course, with any luck, we will get this server full every day of the week in a little while.

So I'm thinking we will setup for this Saturday, even though I will most likely not be able to make it, then have the Friday games next week. Unless anyone has a different suggestion, I will go ahead and set this in the ATTF2 Steam calendar.

Updated the OP with some important information regarding the password.

Also, everyone should note Jschmuck has setup an impromptu event for tomorrow night for all those that are available.

Cheers.
