Mears,
Make an effort to understand her and her beliefs. After all Christianity had it's roots in Abraham (in a way). I'm with the others on not rushing things. Take your time and get to know her and her family if possible. If they are openminded enough to welcome you into their home as their daughter's friend, COOL. Try not to look at the issues that could divide you. But try and see (through their life and faith), the roots of your own Christianity. Even if you and her part ways down the line, you will have been introduced to a faith and culture that you wouldn't normally have been.
I am a Christian. But as I look at the lives and faith of Jewish people, I see so much of my "roots" there. Christians, in general could experience more richness in their own faith by an understanding of Judaism.
Let me help shed some light on my thinking...
Let's say your team is playing in a big football game. You are late to the stadium, you only get there at the final 2 minute whistle. Your team goes on to win a very close game. You can rejoice about your teams victory, but not as much as someone who was there during the whole four quarters.
By understanding more about the Jewish people and their beliefs, you can get a better understanding of your own Christianity. Christianity didn't start at the "cross", it started in the "garden".
Gen. 3:15 "And I will put emnity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel."
