Anyway, just call the phone company. They will have a department that exclusively handles 900 number disputes. In my case, I had something small like $5 or $8 or something and I called to complain about it. The only thing I got was " are you sure you didn't make the call?" about 3 or 4 times and he took it off. I don't know how they handle $125, but I'm sure they have a method for dealing with it.

Wow thanks for the advice, what I was hoping to get from this thread. It's to hard for people to actually answer a question without making some rediculous comment, sure it's their right to do whatever they want within reason, but it is obviously a very unpleasant situation for myself and I'm not in the happiest mood over it.

Had one appear on my bill once... sorta knew how it happened*, but, I didn't call it or agree to it. So, called phone company and told them the truth, that I didn't make that call. They agreed to remove the charge but that I had to block all 900/976/etc calls on that line. "No problem."

*A long time ago** in a galaxy not so far away... a certain adult magazines website had a 'free' offer. You put in your phone number and they'd call you back and talk sex. All absolutely free, etc.** Well, when they called back you had to press a button on the phone to continue... I never did that. Still got hit with a $30-40 charge for <1minute on the phone that i didn't make a call on. And since I didn't give any other info besides the phone number, no way of proving I even entered it on the website (short of a subpoena, which they'd have no real reason to do since again, I didn't agree to pay anything).

**Probably was 10-12yrs ago. And Yes, putting your phone number in free pr0n websites is dumb. Even then, but, still--no legal stuff was there, no agreements, just one box to put a phone number in. It was my line, w/ callerID, and I didn't care who called. I did it mostly to see what the catch was.... which was to charge everyone*** and figure enough people wouldn't dispute the charges to make it worthwhile. Live and learn.

***Now I use other peoples phone lines. A lot of people have them in sheds and stuff, makes it a lot easier to get away with. <- Kidding, that sucks that someone did that, I'd guess it's someone you know--as who else is going to bust in a shed and have a 900# to call handy. When they dispute the call, ask about the blockage of 900/976/etc'pay' numbers it should make that a bit more secure.

It's not a big deal. Call the company, and they'll take it off. I used to work for a phone company, and it was no problem to take this stuff off if it sounded legit. Especially since they was a break-in associated with it. Calm down, man.

haha you guys are actually pretty funny, thanks for the defence cashman but I'm not worried about it in the slightest. Bunch of atot nerds wanna "take out their aggressions" over the internet on me, that's fine. It's more amusing than anything else.

Oh and I'll explain why he's a dumbass: I apologized for not making low brow comments, low brow comments being comments that lack much intelligence at all, very crude. Anyway he then says "obviously intelligent comments are not your thing" or something along those lines. If I had been making low-brow unintelligent comments then I can see him saying this, however I wasn't. As I said I don't care and you guys can yell at me all you want.

Regardless, I got some very good information and advice from this thread, which was the point, so thanks again guys.

What I find interesting is why you're so upset about it Magnum. It's not as if the calls were made on your phone. I'm not exactlly sure how you're under the impression this is your problem. Your gf has parents. They're adults (unlike you it would seem), and can handle their own problems without the support of a pretentions, self-important little boy. They'll. Handle. It.

Where exactly did I type OMG HOLY S.. etc ? Any advice was welcomed on this subject, that's why the thread was started. For advice, with regards to going to the phone company or not. OMG
