umm, similiar thing happened with someone I know, apparently to make the calls you had to speak your name and they record it for dispute purposes, I suggest she calls her phone company and tell them whats up.

holy sh*t that is a lot of money. I have to be honest with you though it IS possible that somebody in her house made the call and is lying - it's a difficult thing to own up to. How can you say with certainty nobody in the house did?

Anyway follow the advice of the guy who said they do a recording of the voice. I know I'd want to dispute this (even if I HAD called - that's expensive!).

i would call whoever is asking for the $150 and tell them that you did not make the call, and what do they want to do about it - where do they normally go at this point, and how can they prove that it was made from that telephone number?

That is a great idea.

UPDATE- Their backyard was broken into on the same night (this info just coming through :|) at approximately 2am because that is when their neighbor's security light went off and woke her up. A bunch of stuff was stolen from their shed, which has a phone in it. Possibility, I think so. This would suck though because it means the bill is still theirs.
