I don't think I own tires with 400 or greater treadwear...

Firestone Firehawk Wide Ovals at 320
Dunlop Direzza Z1 Star Specs at 200
Firestone Winterforce at "none" (yay snows)

And my old MR2 tires - BFG gForce Sports at 320, Kumho Ecsta AST's right at 400. So I guess I do have tires at 400 treadwear...but only two of them (on front wheels).

Ah, it's 140 or higher. I knew something was wrong b/c we were running NT05s

Rules from TFW:

Rules:
1. Cars must use tires of UTQG 140 or higher and run the same tires for all events.
2. One driver must compete in all 3 events.
3. There can be no tuning or adjustments between events.

Ahh... well, some star specs would do me just fine :awe:

Assuming I didn't drive like a jackass it'd be hard to beat a Miata in the auto-x and slalom. The drag would be tough... previous owner had a lot of experience at it and was at about 13.9s... though that was before the car had a 6-puck clutch...

Just watch the MS3 vs Civic, the competition looks like a ton of fun, and +1 to the MS3 winning with a 90hp deficit.

Car was put together in like 2 weeks and had a broken camber arm on one of the rears, I don't remember which side. 8thgen forum talked so much trash, then got whooped by the MS3 and the GTi. Failtastic.

Watch the 350z vs 5.0 one. the 350 driver was just fail all over.

The MS3 driver clearly knew what he was doing whereas the Si driver was a "dyno queen" (love that term).

Same thing with the 350z/5.0 guys, but at least the 350z guy knew he wasn't a great driver and knew he had much less power. But why, oh why, would they line up a 400+HP car against a 250hp car?!

I have a set of 225/45/15 RS3s on 15x9s I'd loan out for this cause. 😉 May need to do some rolling or pulling on an NA though.
 
I just watched all the episodes of The Forum Wars. That show is pretty cool, but some of those drivers are idiots...(mainly the Civic guys and the BMW vs Mercedes guys).

We just need Castiel and we'll win for sure. :awe:
