And also, FWIW, I did not understand a word that came out of his mouth -- why doesn't he just go work for Intel or AMD? Seems intelligent enough. Or is he getting some tradeoff by testing out Intel's technology?

That was actually a simple, easily digestible overview of upcoming tech. You want to see a complex article by the man, try and make sense of this. 27 pages of SSDs with graphs and stuff

I think he even did a 30 page review of the iPhone. I can't imagine coming up with a 30-page all killer no filler review for a cellphone but he makes it look easy. Dude's a genius.

Still a valid question though, why not work for intel or amd? unless anand really like the journalism work

I want to do video, my plan was to do it this year, but this year turned out to be even busier than expected. I actually did some sample stuff, playing with different formats, delivery, etc... that never made it to the site. The tekzilla stuff makes me want to try a few more things. I have a problem with wanting to do more than I have time to, so I need to be careful not to get too excited until I can make it work 🙂

I'm 27 now, started at 14. Working 60 - 80 hour weeks for most of the past years definitely make me feel old now 🙂 I still feel young at heart. This past September took a lot out of me, was pushing 14 - 18 hour days for 7 days straight for all but 3 days of the month (minus airport time).

I was married for a short period of time, not everything makes sense to do at a very young age - learned that the hard way, but it was a good lesson. Girlfriend though, super talented photographer. Life is good, parents are well and healthy. I'm happy.

Oh and the hair - I think my dad is partly to blame for that, although he lost his a bit later than me 🙂 I don't mind though, I've never relied on looks (and definitely not hair) to impress 😛

I do want to do video in the future. If I can make it work, it'll be a 2010 thing.

I think adding videos would be a very interesting improvement to the site, something that you should think about start doing when the said site re-design gets completed. It should help get more traffic to the site, and plus you might be able to do what Tek did, and mention/thank sponsors, so you could pull in additional revenue for AT -- because we all know the forum use is probably killing your bandwidth, and no AT'ers ever click the ads 😀

Yeah, I was wondering for a long time about that, too. The first article on it was very interesting, I think I dreamt of home theater systems for days after that, lol.
