I hereby restate my belief that all Mods should be assigned "Badge Numbers" so that there is actually some accountability for their actions, while they still retain the anonymity that they need to prevent them from retaliations.

Thats a damn good idea.

What, you think ATOT is a democracy?

seriously guys, this is a freaking MESSAGE BOARD, not a goddamn state

The mods do not owe us any explanation. What he said was stupid. Wait a month and he'll be back.

What he said was stupid? Is the truth stupid to you? The situation with Millenium's ban and the fact that FelixDeCat is not banned is hypocrisy at it's best.

I think he meant the first comment he made about the guy's roommate. It was stupid and uncalled for.

Why should the mods be allowed to ban people at will without explanation against the wishes of pretty much the whole damn OT community when its our traffic (and FS/FT) that generates most of the ad revenue that makes this forum possible?

I dont think Mil deserved getting banned for pointing out the double standard.

But baseline... he typed out slurs that arent allowed..... that = ban.

Also his post above that was way psycho, talking about shooting the person and killing her himself, just because of something silly she said..... that was more deserving of a ban. Im not sure you can Ask for someones address so you can go F#@$ blow their heads off, in this forums.

Accountability to who? The mods know who banned who already. What's the point of us knowing "Moderator 12782" banned person x?

The funny thing is the people who got banned probably take this less seriously than some people on here.............

it's not so much the accountability but the apparent arbitrariness of the banning that is confusing and disturbing.

there should be an established set of rules, if those rules are broken, you are banned. if not then you are not.

in the view of many so far, what millenium did my deserve a banning but then so does felixdacat.

why was one banned and not the other.

the mods have the authority and the power to ban any of us whether its fair or not.

I got a vacation for something petty, I dealt with it.

Although I think he's an little idiot, I don't think these circumstances warranted a vacation.

What he said was stupid. We all know that. What more do you need explained? Arguing over who should be banned and who should not be banned and for how long is just pathetic. LET IT GO.

Exactly my point. If I am to understand that Millenium was banned for typing up a bunch of slurs, why wasn't felix banned for doing something even worse, and directing a slur at another forum member?

And yeah, the post above where he talked about killing people was a bit over the line. Morbid humor, some people get it, some dont... however, the way things played out, it looks to me like he got banned for questioning authority, and that's just wrong. If Millenium can't be unbanned, then Felix should be banned as well.
