An inconvenient reminder that I need a garage...

No idea...PD said there have been a lot of issues since the kids got out of school. I was asleep and my roommate let me know about it - I was kind of expecting to find the window completely broken out and stuff missing, but it was just the window.

Nope - apparently auto glass coverage is an optional extra in Arizona, so it falls under my $500 deductible. Safelite quoted $238, and it'd cost me $300+/yr for glass coverage on all three vehicles so I might as well just replace glass as necessary.

I feel for ya. I came down to my underground parking when my Mustang was only a few months old only to find the driver side window missing. It should be legal to shoot people dead who fuck with your car.

For a second I thought it was a bullet hole and I imagined you were in some high speed chase and shootout like Jack Bauer.

Looks like your neighborhood should hire you as a deputy and let you start kicking some asses.

A few years ago one of my roommates had his rear window bashed in. Nothing was taken from his car either. He had a sticker on the glass that made it clear that he was in the Army and we're wondering if somebody didn't like that.

Yeah, I'm wondering if my thin blue line stickers need to go.

Gah, that sucks.

I had a kid rear-end me last September that took nearly a month for their insurance to approve the claim (they have 30 days, and they used 28 :\) Finally got that repaired, which included a new rear bumper cover. Three weeks later I stop for gas and when I walk around to pop open the gas hatch, I notice a nice crease with some idiots dark red paint on the back of the rear wheel arch, down the back of the quarter panel, and onto the bumper cover that was just replaced, and scuffs down the side of the tail-light.
