I knew they were basically lying the moment I read the specs. But so is Klipsch, Cambridge Soundworks, Altec Lancing, Boston Acoustics, etc., etc.

But that does not make them a bad sounding speaker system. It just means that you shouldn't crank them too high, even though your parents aren't home. ;)

Any speaker will run fine as long as you dont run it to the point of distortion, I dont even see why you would need to turn these z560 "computer speakers" up past half way, thats not what their made for. If you want something blasting loud then spend the extra money on something that will begin to distort at way higher volumes.
