"Not fully reliable"
"Pretty small part of frame time"

Ugh. What's the point then?
They are testing in the lighting path only. If they manage to do async compute in all compute stuff the impact in the performance will be significant.

HBAO, motion blur, post processing, lighting and advanced compute effects like tressfx (grass, fur in future games???) together consume a big portion of performance.

Just so you know it was a gtx780 and not a Ti. Either way, that spot on the map shows a hard CPU limit, and a gtx780ti would have the same framerate as the other cards with my CPU on windows 7.

Tested your cpu bottlenecked spot on the siege map, going from all high to all ultra 1366x768 with no MSAA or motion blur made my frame rate drop from 61 fps to 51fps despite low gpu usage.

See if you pull similar results by dropping mesh and textures to high and let me know.Running 335.23 drivers.
