what i do is look at all the people working in a business when i go into the door.
if i see anybody that has any skin pigmentation that isn't obviously from suntanning, then i turn around and leave and find a business where all the workers are like bleached whale bones

that is what i do

Only if you want to over analyze things. For example your "cow" user icon is rascist toward vegans I assume. 😛

Only if it was a steak icon. Vegans have nothing against animals, they just don't eat anything from animals.

Yor demoralizing a cow by having a icon of it on a tech site, that is a crime vs animals and they should be sued
You're a retard.

someones sarcasm meter is not working today :cookie:

The business that has a "American-Owned" Banner outside is considered racist or not? I believe it is. It is as good as stating "White-Owned"

If I were to be of Indian descent but was born here, could I post such a banner? The customers wouldn't think I was American just because I have dark skin.

What does the "American-Owned" Banner mean to you than just the obvious...?
I've seen people of all colors/races/nationalities with that kind of thing.

But the big question is why do you need to state it so obviously? If your business is in America - and its a small business - which is where I've seen most of these... you really don't need to state it. You are in America, its pretty obvious an American owns it.

So national pride is wrong?

The irony these days is the ones crying "racism" all the time are usually more racist than the people they accuse.
Bah that just tells me you've never experienced real racism.

Racism is only endured by children and the weak. Real men carry guns.

Yea and if Mr. Punjabi down the street carried a gun you'd haul him off to jail

Anyways lets not sidetrack the discussion.

No I'm just saying its pretty obvious that your god damn beer store is American if its in small-town Frederick Maryland. As an American I was completely aware of that fact - emphasizing it only makes you seem like a zealot.

American-Owned means it is a company owned by Americans, not someone from China or India or Israel.

Get over it.

Your young, uniformed, "I am and individual because Che is my hero!", never been in the REAL world punk ass telling me what I have or haven't experienced is laughable. You liitle sideshow liberals are funny, harmless and infeffectual, but funny never the less.

It is kind of stupid but to say it's racist is even more stupid. You are drawing conclusions about the owner of the store because of a sign. It may be owned by an Arab American or a Chinese American or a nascar lovin' redneck! None of those facts make the sign racist though.

Look, answer me as a person. Don't take the Che signature and make it out to be the majority of my personality.

You're right, I don't. I don't picture a light skinned individual either.

I don't picture anybody. I picture the land, the country, I picture bald eagles and white tail deer. I picture the coast and the malls and the monuments.

Stop being such a racist.

And you're taking our skin color and making it out to be the majority of our personality. Pot, meet kettle. Or, as the Spanish saying goes, "The donkey calls the pig 'long ears'".

I noticed people out here do it mainly to avoid BS from idiots. You'll see some Hispanics owning a fruit stand out here and it's very obvious some people come by and think (but would never say)

Damn, that guy is Hispanic. I sure wish he wasn't because that fruit itself looks pretty good. Thanks to the sticker though, I can think to myself 'Even if the guy is Hispanic and thus possibly from across the border, the stand itself is definitely American owned so that is what I'm going to focus on during this purchase'. American fruit! Hell yeah!'

The fact that you have the "Che signature" tells an educated person all they need to know about you, so change it, or deal with the results. Your response to me alone actually tells me all I need to know about you. You are a young idealistic little punk who thinks he has the whole world figured out without ever living an actual day in it. You are the typical campus liberal. I spent quite a bit of time on college campuses getting my two degrees so I know your type, but I am twice your age plus a few and I have seem more about real life living it than you can get from a book.

I'm not gonna change it in a thousand years.

But I am curious as to which responses of mine were "punkish" though. I think I've been quite polite.

Anyways, I'm sure you are older and have a lot of experience under your belt, I'm not doubting that at all. That does not give you the excuse to demean my life dude. I have my own business and I work pretty hard to keep it going.

Show me where I said you weren't white.

Your ethnicity has nothing to do with the fact that throughout this thread you have been lumping every caucasian (excepting only yourself) into the same stereotyped group. Bravo, you've managed to become racist against your own ethnic group. *golfclap*
