What a waste of post #1000.

I think Allison has the chance at a great career in front of her. I agree with the statement a few weeks ago that she reminds me of Kelly Clarkson. I think she sounds a lot like her when she sings really upbeat songs. If she picks the right songs for rock week, she could be in the top two again next week.

I disagree. Her voice hurts my ears, and she just wants to scream. I think Kris can sing better than her, but she will have the advantage over Kris next week though.

Adam vs Danny for the Finale though. They are the 2 best singers.

It made me feel so good to see Adam in the bottom two. I can't stand his self indulgent screeching - that high note on Tuesday was not music, it was "hey look at how long I can hold this high note!" Again, I feel the need to point out again that Adam is reminiscent of any number of heavy metal screechers/singers, and nobody loves them!

how do you figure? she's nailed just about every performance so far. Honestly, she's been the most consistently awesome next to Adam. I like Danny, but he has been boring the last few weeks. he was fantastic this week, but Allison was even better. I thought it was probably her best performance.

it doesn't really matter who wins a this point. They'll all have pretty solid careers. best top 5-7 they've had on this show. it's kind of funny how a guy like Taylor Hicks wins one year, when at least 5 of the contestants from this year could blow him away.

I agree 100%. Allison is great. She has a perfect rock voice. I was sold when she sung Heart's Alone way back at the beginning of the season and she has not disappointed since. And to imagine she's only 16.

Danny is pretty boring. He's got a good smokey/Michael McDonald voice and all but at the end of the day to me he's just a better looking, less goofy Taylor Hicks.

Go back to the first four or so performances of allison. She tried to sing big several times and couldn't carry it through. Judges gave her a bunch of bad song choice, pitchy, and lost a note comments at the time.

I think she is clinging on since she is the last contestant with a vagina...but then again, Adam might have one too someday. 😀

Can't believe Allison is still there. It gets to the point where 'awesome for her age' wears off, and has to complete on the same level with the others, which she can't. As a performer tho, she really connects with the audience and I think that's carried her.
