Gokey is no Taylor Hicks. he's cute, and he can dance unlike Hicks. i actually like his voice better also.

I won't comment on the dance moves or the looks, but Gokey's singing is far beyond that of Hicks. I remember someone making the comment during season 5 that if you close your eyes durings Hicks's performance, his singing just isn't very good, and that was so true. Danny's not like that at all, and while he had a few boring weeks in there, he's got real talent and will hopefully bring it next week just like he did this week. Gokey never utters the words, "Soul Patrol," so that alone puts him leaps and bounds above Hicks 🙂.

At this point though, I'm really rooting for Allison. Rock week could be her best week yet. I agree with the previous comments about this being the most talented top 4-7 that the show's ever had.

I agree 100%. Allison is great. She has a perfect rock voice. I was sold when she sung Heart's Alone way back at the beginning of the season and she has not disappointed since. And to imagine she's only 16.

Danny is pretty boring. He's got a good smokey/Michael McDonald voice and all but at the end of the day to me he's just a better looking, less goofy Taylor Hicks.

That's the thing with Allison. I think her best perfermance was that song at the beginning of the show. I still hope she makes the finals though. I'm going for Adam & Allison finals.
 
Love the concept, think those that haven't been keeping up with this as a performance competition may sink though.

he still hit his highs a little too high, but for such a big song he hit it about as well as any on the show, and having the bank with him like that should guarantee a top spot.
 
Concerning Adam...

Ok this performance solidifies it for me. How many deceased glam metal 80's hair bands with an over the top screeching singer performed a rendition of Whole Lotta Love, exactly like that? The whole package, too: the makeup, the hair, the thinly veiled homosexuality ala Judas Priest, this dude is about 25 years too late. I'm sick of him.
