I'm just watching the performance show now - grossly underwhelming, much like country week always is. The guys are doing better this week, Allison did fine, ANOOP finally showed up...

Time to watch cute and quirky Megan 🙂

edit: That's quite a dress she's wearing. Accentuating her singing mannerisms probably isn't going to help her 😛 But so far, Scott still goes to go home the most.
 
I love all the differing tastes...I wouldn't look at Alexis twice, but I think Megan is fine. Certainly has a better body, even after having a kid!

I don't agree with her getting booted off though - Michael doesn't seem to have any range, in terms of style, nor does he have a great voice to begin with. Next week should be Michael and Scott in the bottom 3 unless something crazy happens - Michael was also lucky to have country as the genre this week.

I doubt that I would recognize Adam after he took a shower and washed all the product out of his hair and makeup off of his face. He probably takes more time in makeup than Seacrest does.
 
I don't generally watch this show, but the wife had it on tonight while I was eating dinner after class.

WTF is up with Randy Travis? He looks almost as bad as Patrick Swazey...and sounded like shit.
A FAR cry from his hey-day of 20 years ago...

Otherwise, the little girl they voted off tonight...DAM! She was a cutie...I think she may have had a decent voice, but that was a bad song for her.
(haven't watched a single episode all year...don't know how she did with other songs...maybe she NEEDED to be sent home)

Yes she can! Seeing her was the best part of the show last night. Having Alexis go home over Michael was the worst.

Megan probably wouldn't be bad and actually quite a bit more on the hottie side if she wore long sleeve tops. That abortion of a right arm is just way too distracting.
 
Megan is hot dude! The sleeve tattoo just adds personality. However, I don't think she'll last much longer just on her looks alone. I'll give her one more week before she gets the boot. And that cute little sway she does from side to side is getting old... she's pretty boring on the stage.

I think either Adam or Lil is goin all the way.

i completely agree. that arms looks horrible. to me nothing turns me off faster then a women smoking, or seeing something like her arm.
 
Megan's arm doesn't bother me at all. She is a singer, not an accountant.

They should have saved Alexis. She has great vocals, and song choice is often limited for them anyway. Not many artists can excel in all different music genres.

For example, Adam's Ring of Fire was fscking horrible. He is a decent singer, but I would take Alexis or Lil Rounds before I would him. And I think the wild card piano player is a dark horse.
 
Did she forget a lot of the lyrics too, Alexis that is, during that final performance? It seemed as though she did. She just sorta adlibbed a LOT of "yeaaaah's" and things of that nature where it seemed there were supposed to be lyrics. Her voice cracked a few times too. She was NOT winner material IMO.

you gotta realize she knew she was on the verge of getting kicked off, she probably got a little emotional and probably tried too hard to win the judges over.

I think she forgot a few words... who cares at this point, she was on her way out. Simon summed it up... told her she was good, but not good enough. Too many pitchy things goin on w/ her song last night and she just doesn't have the AI charisma they're looking for. Adios Alexis!
