Yet, it was perfect for that performance. It needed to be indulgent: the dude was like the Devil or some shit. I imagine some ridiculous 70s Rock Opera a la A L Webber. Crazy shit, with everything together, really was pretty damn awesome.

Boys win tonight. Only good performance from the ladies was Allison. Cannot stand Megan, Alexis was... not good, and I spent the entire time comparing Lil to Carrie, which isn't fair, but hey if you're going to copycat, it's gonna happen or you better sing the heck out of the song. She didn't.
Worst of the dudes tonight, for me, was Michael Sarver. That Garth song is done way too much on the show.
The SECOND I heard that Danny was doing a Carrie song, I KNEW it would be "Jesus Take the Wheel."
Bottom three on performance: Megan, Alexis and Michael. Maybe Scott.
Realistic bottom 3: ah heck, I'll take the same. Scott should survive at least one more week though.

I missed the first hour, but I don't think it mattered. Anoop simply rocked it. Matt was great as well. I voted 10 times for Anoop, and threw 2 Megan's way because she was sick.😀

Scotty needs to go, totally likeable guy, but I just don't hear him as being in the league that's needed to go on. Same with Michael, but I think he'll still be safe this week.
Although Megan is hot as hell, she looks really uncomfortable on stage and sorta robotic with her movements. She should really go before Scott, but her hotness will get her votes.
As of now, I am going with Alison to win it with Adam second.

Anoop was the best of the night (by far IMO), Megan was second, and Adam Lambert absolutely must leave tonight. I haven't liked him since day one, and last night's performance cemented my feelings even more. That was the WORST rendition of Ring of Fire I have ever heard in my life.

yet he is leagues beyond anyone else in that competition in terms of talent, marketability, and performance. Of course, those last two qualities mater most in this competition, but it still holds that Adam and Lil have the absolute best control/range/skill set than anyone else.
Maybe if he goes with some G&R or Queen you guys will finally "get him?" Well, I thought the Ring of Fire was pretty cool, and I'm 99% certain that the man in black himself would have dug it, if you know anything about Cash, and esp. his later career, then you'd know that's the case...
Megan's stage performance is exactly like Amy Winehouse. Her voice is very similar. I think the judges see this in her, and based on Winehouse's ability to sell mountains of records, they see no problems.
The thing that separates Amy Winehouse from Megan is that Amy Winehouse can actually sing (well, she could at one point, now she's just a crackhead). Megan is horrible. The entire time she's singing I get the feeling she is singing to her kid or something. If she didn't look like she does her ass would have been bounced out of the competition a long time ago. She can't sing, she pronounces words in a very odd way, and she just stands there on stage doing nothing except that retarded shimmy dance. If an uglier girl or a guy just stood there doing nothing, they judges would rip them up unless their vocals were off the charts. The judges just see marketing potential in her looks and "quirky" style. Eventually though she will have to back that up with actual singing talent, of which she has none.

It comes down to personal preference, I just don't like Adam, I did at first but now it seems like its all the same sound to me. Start smooth then later start screaming. He will go far and that's fine, but not everyone likes the same thing, if I named bands that I think suck that are some of the biggest in the world we could argue for years about it.
Yeah, Adam is gay. That said, I actually thought his "Ring of Fire" was pretty awesome. Was it the slightest bit country? Not at all.
I still really like Anoop, but I don't see him realistically having a chance to win. I think Adam and Danny are probably front-runners. I'm not that impressed by Lil. I don't think she has amazing tone or anything like that. She's an ok singer, but her instrument isn't anything remarkable to me.
People I hope go soon would be Michael S, Scott, Alexis, and... well those 3 need to go asap. Again, Megan is hot, but this is not a beauty pageant.

I find his personality and presence far more tolerable than that dude that didn't make it past the round of 36--the super emo. With Adam, he just seems to dress that way. The dude with all those piercings and the sparkly headband was a freaking social disaster...

Oh god yes that guy was just a mess. I was out earlier and the guy on the radio station I listen to was saying he doesn't think any of them are superstars, that's pretty bold. He said alot have great chops and can sing but he isn't blown away. I seriously haven't seen anyone this year that did what Cook did last season, everything he touched he made his own and it was great. I kinda agree with him, I see some decent singing but nothing makes a certain person stand out at a HUGE star, that doesn't mean they wont go on to have success though.
