Best performances of the night for me: Matt Giraud, Danny Gokey, Anoop Desai, Kris Allen, and Michael Sarver. The best woman was probably Allison. But tonight definitely belonged to the guys.

Worst performances of the night for me: Adam Lambert and Megan Joy (why is she going by Megan Joy now instead of Megan Corkrey???).
 
Anoop was awesome! Matt was great as well.

Megan was once again horrible. I don't care if she was sick, every week she reinforces that she cannot sing. I hate the way she pronounces words. They call it quirky, I call it crappy. Somehow though the judges love her. I don't get it.

I like Megan but definitely didn't like her tonight. Even if she hadn't been sick, I wouldn't have liked her as much as Allison or the other guys in my previous post tonight.

I like Megan and her style. She certainly can't win and probably won't be around much longer but she keeps it interesting.

She dropped the Corkrey because it was her married name and she didn't want her ex to get any publicity.

Most likely, Cash would have dug the hell out of it. Do you guys really know anything about Cash's later performances? He really explored both his own songs and many others. Dude was covering NIN.

I loved it, because it was so WTF?? Very moody, and certainly memorable.

Really dug Lil tonight too. Hated the song, but her vocals are freaking ridiculous. I think what I liked so much about that performance was that it was so far from who she is, yet she still nailed it. Allison and Danny were solid again. Michael was also good--the only real country performance, and I hate this new-fangled "country."

First time I noticed Chris, Anoop (surprisingly good for me) and Matt (who was the best of those 3, imo). Thought that song was great for Megan and the whole performance worked for me. Just when I thought I was going to get a bit tired of her style, I really dug that one.

...Bye bye Scotty. that performance sucked. 2 in a row...

I think I've watched 3 seasons now, and this is the first time where it seems like there are well more than 2 or 3 that have a legitimate shot. Tough, tough competition.
