I thought Tatiana was going to collapse. She was pretty much hyperventilating before the break, and not very happy when she found out she didn't make it. (I knew she had absolutely no chance after Michael Sarver was announced.)

Anoop will be back in the wild card.
 
Anoop better be back in the wildcard ... what the heck. I liked his aggregate performances much better than Michael's.

Simon said "people like him deserve a chance" which probably endeared him to a lot of voters. They see this nice, hardworking guy and go "aww let's give him a chance. He doesn't sound that bad. He sang a nice song."

I agree with you, hes just not the next American Idol, there were better choices.

the comedy guy was actually first one of the night that didn't suck.


not sure why the judges loved the chick doing heart so much, she was rather good in the beginning, but when she got to the chorus and started singing the loud part, her voice was really strained.

Wow the girl with the tats that sang the Corinne Bailey Rae song was horrible. Why did she pronounce the words in the song so weird? I don't get why the judges liked her.
 
I think the dyed red headed 16 y/o, who looks a bit like Kelly Clarkson, and sang Heart's "Alone" is in. The guy who sang MJ's "Man in the Mirror" is in, and like it or not the emo guy who sang the Stone's "Satisfaction" is in. (Unless there is some quota and they have to pick another girl and then likely the tattooed armed girl is in based on how many times the judges said she was pretty and gorgeous).
 
Not liking this format, we're getting too much crap in a single night. Again it's like 1 decent of each gender, 1-2 more from each ok, and the rest I could have done as good as at the bar after a couple pitchers.
 
I'm just watching it now, and already I have to assume that Allison will make it through. Heart's "Alone" is one of my favorite songs ever and any woman that can sing it properly deserves some attention. And she's got some soul for 16-years old. Finally, a solid vocal performance.
 
huh...the girl with the tattoos: I actually like her. She's attractive and the smokiness of her voice is very sultry and she's got a cute personality.

Now, Jesse actually had a good vocal performance too, but it was boring. She's a good singer but not very engaging.

wasn't my favorite of his performances, but emo guy, despite how many here will judge him by his appearance, is clearly far ahead of any other contestant this year.

yeah, a little too showtuney, but fucker can wail when he wants to.
