girl with the tat seemed to shake with tiny seizures while singing which annoyed me. last dude has the chops to beat them all on that night, regardless of his style.
i'm finding myself a heart fan lately, too. she sang it well, altho apparently she spends most of her days and thoughts... in a room.

Whew! Thanks for letting me know, because I was really thinking of making a career change! Now I guess I can give up on THAT dream.
Maybe it "wasn't the right song for her" but I didn't like that girl's performance at all, especially compared to the way Corinne Bailey Rae sings it. She also had this weird way of saying "down" which drove me nuts, and the odd shimmying was off putting.
And that guy? Even Simon said parts of that song were flat horrible. More often than not during his performance he sounded like an actor doing a theater performance, which he would be great at (and what he apparently already does). He didn't sound like a good rock n roll singer, which is what he is trying to be.

My favorites last night:
Allison (dyed red-head) - Did a good job and picked a good song, but the song sounded like it was just a bit too big for her (wife didn't think she had enough breath support towards the end).
Megan Joy - Hot looking, great voice, decent job on the song. I think she's unique and talented enough to make the top 12.
Kris - Surprisingly didn't butcher a Michael Jackson song. The field of guys was pretty weak overall last night.
Adam - I hated the arrangement of Satisfaction, but he can definitely sing.
Jesse - My wife preferred her over Allison. I wasn't blown away by the song, but it was ok and I think her confidence in front of the judges afterward helped her.
