I am actually disappointed the clown had such an awful backstory. And more so in what happened to him. =( Easily, the best character on the show.
 
Not a terrible episode this week, but I miss Twisty!

Dandy and his mom are my favorite scenes now. Those two are great! And it looks like it will be getting even better if Dandy gets this new play toy from the last scene.
 
We got confused regarding the storyline of the most recent couple introduced, who sell dead freaks to the museum... Were the Twins and Illustrated Seal being in a tank a flash forward? A fantasy? Do we know?

I took it as a fantasy (day dream) the guy was having...it is what he is hoping for, though none of it has happened.

It was him fantasizing about them. He hasn't been able to do any of that yet. The seal was still at the camp and the twins were dropped off at Dandy's.

Yeah... I just wasn't sure if it was daydreaming or a flash forward. Including the cupcake scenes, that was a lot of screen time for a daydream.

LILY RABE back as a nun! And that is Pepper from season 2. Didn't know the seasons were supposed to be connected -- show people commentary. That means the devil was born in season 1...

Jessica Lange is amazing. Sarah Paulson seems underutilized.
 
This season is just too out there, and the ratings seem to back that up.
Episode 1 was 6.13, last was 2.99.

Final episodes are:

Not feeling the season overall after the 4th episode, but man, that last episode (Orphans) was awesome and crazy sad, was definitely smelling onions or something multiple times. If there's any justice in the world they'll work in a "Pepper's Revenge" twist somewhere in the last 2 episodes, but this show really doesn't play like that.
 
So... next episode is finale.

I lost interest when they killed Twisty.
 
I haven't seen the last couple episodes (after Christmas break) and have been meaning to pick them up on the DVR. Can't say I am entirely enthralled by this season, especially after what they did with that crazy ass clown.
 
So, caught up last night and wow
they are killing off everyone!
I was particularly impressed with how well they represented 'pin heads' in the episode 'Orphans' and the struggle of Pepper's life. Sad how that turned out, but a nice throwback, with some foreshadowing!
 
Can't say I felt justice was served. Ending was nice.

Wonder if Jessica Lange will come back next season or not.
 
Can't say I was overly impressed by this season. It was okay, but after the novelty of freaks wore off, it just didn't have enough. I mean, the ending... wtf?
