Ok so my question is how is:

American coke vs. Mexican Coke - Well I know the outcome. Mexican coke wins hands down. My roommate stopped buying bottled coke from the convenience store and drank my Mexican coke instead.

American Pepsi vs. Pepsi Natural

Are the changes basically the same? I tried Pepsi Natural but I haven't done a heads up comparison like I got to do with coke.

Checked the label...SUGAR, not HFCS. (gotta check...some Mexican Coca-Cola has sugar, some has HFCS.) :roll:

The overall taste is the same, but the underlying sweetness is much different and the follow-up taste is much better.

Yep, pretty much. Coke with sugar and not HFCS makes a much better rum & Coke too IMO. 🙂

I'm not much of a rum & coke drinker...never liked any soda pop with liquor, but that only makes sense since GOOD rum is made from cane sugar.

I guess you could read the label ... but there is no other way to tell.
