Its the idiots that keep harping on the past that are worse than anything.
You must be one of those reparations guys?

Seriously. We HAVE screwed some things up in the past. Recently as well. What's the big problem with coming out and saying,
"Yeah, we've made some mistakes, we're human."
Why is the right up in arms about this?
EDIT: Before someone jumps in and says:
"UHATEAMERICA! DEYTOOKRJERBS!"
No, I don't. I just don't think there's anything wrong with owning up to past mistakes.
This might have been interesting if you'd have given some examples (with support).
Plus, get back to me when the lefties here can admit the CDS and other financial mistakes were from bills signed by Clinton and pushed by his Treas Secretary (along with some Repubs). Then toss in Barney Frank et al (no probs here etc).
H3ll, they can't even admit Obama bowed to the Saudi King.
Did you not watch Chris Dodd and Geithner play 'hot potato' over the whole AIG bonus scandel?
Yeah, luckily it's only a phenomenon we see from the "right"

I've never denied Clinton's hand. Do you deny Reagen being the primary instigator in removing the rigorous regulations that would have prevented this fiasco from germinating? From planting the culture of greed? You'd be retarded for not accepting that truth. Do you deny Bush 1's involvement?
...and WTF does Obama bowing to the Saudis have anything to do with anything?
oh yeah, NVM, you said "leftists" and went on to assume that a certain polarizing group of people accept some brainwashed belief that you impose on them. smells like a troll...

Reagan as the guy who "planted" the "culture of greed"? Yeah, greed is a very new phenomenon, I'm sure it didn't exist before Reagan. Where do you find this drivel??

Reagan removed regulations that lead to this problem?
Honestly, I've not heard anything about that. What did Reagan remove?
I've read it was from a bill Clinton signed. Dick Army was the Repub involved (finally remembered his name).
LMK what you think Reagan did.

Bill Clinton couldn't even admit he was having sex with interns after he had been caught either..
Interns?
How many interns do you think he had sex with?

How would you feel if you were raped/beaten/robbed repeatedly, told it was for your own good, and then made fun of or told to "get over it" when you complained about it?
"It's just your trust in representative government, your freedoms, and your money that you lost, get the fuck over it you whiny bitch!"

Because America has done more good than harm. I believe other nations are more intent on demonizing our mistakes then recognizing our contributions.
Any criticism of America's failures should take into account the results of its successes. That's only fair.
