america assassinates american citizen without trial

Lolbama. Does anyone now doubt that Obama has been the biggest threat to freedom and liberty this country has ever seen? Assassinating an American Citizen without a trial. How else has Obama violated the constitution?

Funny how most of the media made constant news about the Bush administration holding suspected terrorists without a trial, but the Obama administration gets away assassinations on suspected terrorists with only a few occasional reports by the media.

BTW, Guantanamo Bay detention camp is still open, despite Obama's promise of closing it being one of the first things he was going to do.

😵

So it's ok for the US to assassinate a foreign terrorist but American terrorists have extra rights?

There is more than enough creditble evidence that this dirt bag was an active terrorist. Yemen even caught him making plans.

Would you have felt better if he denounced his US citizenship?

you Obama haters are out of your mind.

this tool was killed by an airstrike. He was not captured. if he was captured he would be in trial.

This.

Extenuating circumstances, oh well. Not like this was the preferred method of dealing with his threat to the country.

That is great until they label you a terrorist and drop a bomb on your car.

If he was in the US doing this, I honestly believe they wouldn't have sent drones after him. They would have tried to capture him. If he got killed during the capture, so be it. But here, he would have had the option to turn himself in. This coward was hiding in Yemen. He could have come here and turned himself in to "clear" his name if he wasn't a terrorist. Instead, the coward did what all terrorists do--hid and plotted against the US some more. Should the US just let him keep on terrorizing us?

Not getting any sympathy here from me.

thats what people in afghanistan, iraq, pakistan etc.. would say about our cia, seals, rangers etc...

Ya, I know..one man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter. And those bass ackward countries don't treat our military any better. I am not saying we stoop to their level for every incident but there are exceptions and this should be one of them.

Perhaps a posthumous trial to determine his guilt or innocence? Clearly if Obama is assassinating U.S. citizens a court can decide if he acted within his rights as President? And if not, perhaps he should be put on trial with Bush and Cheney?

I am not giving him any aympathy either. I am discussing this from a view of should we allow our govt to throw out due process because the govt are unable to bring American citizens to justice.

So he is in Yemen, so what? Why does that allow the president to issue a death sentence without trial?

Should we just let him keep hiding while he is actively pursuing his terrorist goals? If our troops can't get into the country because of unfriendly ties the US may have with it, what are we to do....aside from bombing him?

I understand your point about just picking and choosing which US citizen goes to trial and which gets assassinated and I really don't have a good answer to be honest.

I think it's hilariously idiotic for you to say a man protected by a robe and maybe a rifle is cowardly to make himself the most wanted target of the US.

Whatever you say about these militants, without support systems, our technology for delivering food, comforts, communications, transportation, medical care if wounded...

Our guy gets wounded, he's on a copter in minutes to highly advanced care.

They get wounded, they lay there usually. Let's see you do what they do.

Let's see me do what terrorists would do? No thanks, not a terrorist Craig and I don't support them--unlike you.

How do we get other people wanted in foreign countries?

We shouldnt be picking and choosing which US citizens get trials. We should all get trials if we are being accused
