The other side of the coin is he was let off of the hook to even state his opinion or purpose. The fact that this thread even needed a fair warning before there was a single response tells me it was known it was going to be flame bait.
Actually the fair-warning was because we knew a small number of vocal individuals would not be able to get past who the OP was, and instead of debating the topic matter itself the thread would be at high risk of getting derailed by more thread-crapping about Keysplayr than anything else.
That the thread even needed a fair-warning is a sad indication of just how immature a segment of our population is. Then again, so too is the fact that this subforum needs 3 active mods plus 2 on reserve...a number higher than other subforum at ATF.
So this thread was posted to be able to close the thread about nVidia and claim some sort of fair play? Or, is that just how it's by pure coincidence ended up as?
Don't be so cynical. We don't have the time or the desire to play those games.
As others have stated, you follow the links and what you get has absolutely nothing in common except you can reference them both to viral marketing. One is about disciplinary actions taken on a site, a very large well known site, and the other is the ranting of a person who's PO'd he didn't get a review sample and is going to teach AMD a lesson. He also doesn't care who else he hurts or falsely accuses outside of his little circle.
I challenge you to find anything concrete or proof-positive about this claim.
What you will find is a lot of people claiming this claim and not much beyond that.
Apoppin has at least put up names, we found "David Makin" had two seperate accounts here for example. Heck even Rollo outed himself an his unknown (to us mods) secondary account here as FredGamer. Those are concrete results from Apoppin's efforts.
What is
actually known about the Chiphell incident versus what have you been told, led to believe, and taken on faith about it? Think about it.
