They are doing "poorly" because of their CPU division...the GPU division is actually putting out competitive products...which is what you need to do to get people to buy...and is exactly what the CPU division is NOT doing unfortunately, and hurts more because their CPU division is much larger than the GPU division.

The topic of this thread is how AMD lost marketshare. So your opinion of their GPU division does not match the fact of the matter.

I was responding to what I perceived to be a financial comment.

I stated that the GPU division IS putting out some good products (do you disagree? If so, why?) based on performance and price metrics. Whether people actually buy those products is another question. As has been stated before, putting out a good products doesn't necessarily mean people will buy it.

Do you have any rebuttal to the statements I made in my post that you quoted?
