Crossfire HD6850s originally, but it's not working out too well for me. Guessing I'm limited by the 1GB VRAM, basically getting worse performance in Battlefield 3 with 2 cards than 1. Currently having one GPU disabled.

No, seriously. When you consider market share between the brands, and all of the negative publicity surrounding crossfire, I would have imagined the results being pretty much the opposite.

Oh cmon,this is anandtech.indeed seriously*winks*

Cryptic? there is nothing cryptic about it.this place is red.i know it and you know it.*shrugs*

Well, after the poll, I know there are more AMD users responding. I just don't know why we don't more represent the general market for video cards.

Its because AMD has a launch comeing up soon.
Maybe more people looking in the forums are red.

anyways thats just on a poster level.
Most of the mods and reviewers are slightly more green than red, if anything in this place.
Which is probably where it matters most right?

Again, say what you mean. By we I meant members of the forum, which we all are. What meaning does it have for you?

Why the Ninja edit?

Stop being a [redacted] 3d,it doesnt suit you:).

You and I are obviously having a failure to communicate. You have a week off to review the posting rules, specifically with respect to profanity in technical forums.

Me? Maybe you ought to read your own posts, mate. I'm just trying to have a conversation with you. If we were talking in person, you'd be picking a fight.

I would not have guessed the results we have.

This.

Even though I have NVidia single card RIGHT NOW, I've owned plenty of both. But based on the biased on these boards, I assumed NVidia would mop the floor.

This thread ended up being way more interesting than the title would make one think ;)

EDIT:

I should also state I only have NVidia because Microcenter didn't have the 7950 in stock that day! And I was feeling impatient :) Had to go with the 670.

I hate people labeling me Red, green or blue.
I think I as many of the other posters here on the forum is Black, as in performance/$ is the most important aspect. And some absolute limits in areas as noice and TDP.
I mostly switch back every generation (Geforce 2->9500pro->9800->800xt->7800GT->1950xtx->8800GTS->4890->560ti->7970->something integrated from Intel) and it seems like a lot of people are in the same boat, and as surprised about the results as I am. Especially how many CF users there are with all the negative comments on web sites and in forums.

Just vote which one is in your main gaming rig or the card you use the most for gaming.

I dont feel that I can accurately participate in this poll.

sure you can. which is your primary gaming machine now (today)? what gpu(s) is in that one machine. not your wife's machine. not your kid's machine. not your friend's machine. not what you had last month, last year.

direction is clear as day. no need to make this hard than it is.
