Hello gentlemen,
I am trying another overclock but having probs. Still using same Sempron 3100+ but I put in two 512 sticks of Mushkin Performance PC3200 (2-3-3). But after doing so, any overclocking is just about useless as I am getting resets. Could ya throw some settings for me to try? Thanks in advance.

I recieved it last thursday and decided to put it together but I am having a problem. My system consist of ecs combo 3100+, 2 512 pc3200, maxtor 120g,aiw 9600 agp card. Installed everything and power on but I anm getting an error saying a file is missing or currupt, I cannot do a repair because it hangs up.
The hard drive works ok on my son's pc.

Hey guys, just wanted to let you know that I successfully flashed the bios in a computer built for a friend using the ISO that was linked in this thread. Can see FSB up to 320, but haven't tried doing any OC'ing since the BIOS swap. Did a fresh install of windows and it is working just fine without any tweaking. Will report back with OC results if I think of it...
Yes, and it works fine. More overclocking options with max htt of 320.Originally posted by: xSeongminx

I have issues with this board now after a few months - onboard nic developed issues from nowhere (didnt monkey at all with it and it was working fine, then random disconnects and issues with p2p programs) and the mobo loses time - replaced cmos battery - didnt fix it - both the ECS and Biostar nf3 boards seem to sometimes share the issue from what I've picked up - but if it didnt develop these problems, it'd be a great deal. Overclocked pretty good.
No more ECS combos for me. Next build is PCIe & a different manufacturer. For budget I've had much better luck with Asrock. I might have given the ECS nf4 board a chance but not now.

Word of WARNING! It's my understanding that ECS is made by SOYO, who screwed a lot of people out of $75 rebates on a motherboard that was bad to begin with, including me. I would NOT buy anything from SOYO or ECS!
