Maybe for gamers who aren't rich/live with mom and dad.

You could always get this and a PCI-E video card for around the same price after all is said and done... but that's assuming you're buying a new video card too.

And what dont I get? I guess they fact that the deal is 79 and and 90 is not important.

robertk2012, if this thread was just a single page regarding just the original deal which expired then it would be worth a repost, however the deal has been almost continuous (excepting for when out of stock). So what if the price changed a bit? Knowing that people are finding the information here to be of value means a repost is not needed regardless of whether the price is off or not. There's plenty to offer here with people posting when the combo is back in stock, when out of stock, when offered in a Fry's, the "easy" BIOS overclocking settings, the best value heatsinks, clockgen info, "alternate" BIOS info... thus this thread is still current and other threads are redundant.
Now, you are right in saying that it would be nice if the OP updated his post to at least reflect current info, but still this thread has "prior art" and thus yours was a repost. There's another thread around here on Corsair ValueSelect RAM that seems to be updated whenever prices change, and that's pretty nice to see. Perhaps the OP will see us discussing this and at least change the thread title.

Damn... This looks like such a good deal. I just can't justify the purchase of a motherboard without PCI Express...
