1800X shipment is en route. Looks like I will have everything but the motherboard this weekend, so I hope I can snag one with next day shipping from Amazon or something 🙁

Sadly this works out perfectly for me as I will be out of town and will be unable to enjoy my hardware even if it did arrive :/

Fortunately, I have almost zero obligations in the next three weeks. Which means the sooner I can get a motherboard, the sooner I can dial it to 11!

Anyone who has ordered from Amazon received shipping notification yet? Just wondering if I'll have to wait till tomorrow for Amazon to ship.

Thanks

If you're not a Prime member, don't expect the fastest shipping, regardless of price. I've had orders still in process 5 business days & when a item of the same brand at a higher (almost double) spec was on promo for the same price, was able to cancel the original order & able to order the one at the promo price. And yet another 4-5 day wait before that order shipped.🙁

Of course, one can also pay for fast shipping, or if shops on the site frequent enough, get a Prime membership, which I considered, though shop more at Newegg, and already have a Costco membership to keep up with.🙂

Many of these sites will carry the same hardware, and as of late, even Newegg's 'DHL' shipping is much faster than in the past, often for free, or very reasonable cost. Unlike Amazon, Newegg does, for a fee of $2.99, as long as the order is placed early enough, offer 'same-day shipping' with a money back guarantee if it doesn't go out.🙂

I'm a prime member and paid for 1 day shipping. Hopefully it ships today and arrives tomorrow

Nothing yet here, still says releasing on March 2nd. My Corsair H100i V2 which was bundled with 1800X already shipped though.

Edit: My order does say "Shipping speed: Two-Day Shipping" though I think that might be due to an upgrade of my order's shipping due to Amazon screwing up the Cooler's Ship Date.

Ram came in. Ordered the AM4 water block brackets from EK and a water block for the 1080ti. No word on the crosshair from amazon. It will be another week before I get to do anything since all parts won't be here for a while. Not to mention I have to wait until the GPU goes on sale and wait for that. Painful wait, but I look forward to reviews tomorrow (hopefully midnight tonight. Coffee going on after dinner!)

Review embargo supposedly expires at 10AM Eastern in the morning.

There are always 3rd party scammers on amazon. I wonder if they actually sell those things? Seems odd anyone would fall for that. I doubt that zen cpus will be in short supply either.

I hope not but leaving work early to make sure I get mine from Microcenter as soon as they open.... not sure how they do pre-orders or if it's still on first come first serve basis but hoping ti have my build done by 11am ready to stress.

When I preordered, the reservation confirmation email had a time it's ready by. If you preorder they are supposed to have it ready and hold it from that time until the end date in the confirmation email (mine says until the 5th).

If you just walk in without preorder reservation, it's first-come, first-serve.

Made my Amazon pre-order of 1800X bundled with Corsair H100i V2 AIO and the MSI X370 XGAMING TITANIUM Motherboard literally 13 minutes after the pre-order window of 1:00PM EDT, so I better be one of the first in line! 😀

Could have avoided over $60 in taxes if I had ordered from Newegg but I couldn't find anything that early, so I'll be miffed if I have to wait till April to get my order as some have been told by Amazon.

We'll see here shortly.

talk about price gauging... Amazon has the 1800x for sale in stock at $749 !

I saw that happening on day 1. I consider myself lucky to have a microcenter nearby where I'll be picking it up tomorrow. I didn't want to miss out on this decades' greatest hype storm.

I'm considering driving to my closest Microcenter to pick up a motherboard. Since Newegg seems to have dropped the ball on the ASUS Crosshair VI Hero.

I'm wondering if I shouldn't have just tried to get one at microcenter tomorrow as well when I pick up the CPU. Key word here is *tried*. I expect a line of people to be gobbling up any and all decent AM4 boards off the shelves tomorrow. If Amazon is a little late, at least it should come. Otherwise, it could be weeks or months until more crosshairs come in stock.
Also, I think the 1800x sold out at my microcenter. That tells me there will be an absolute deluge of people at that store tomorrow.

According to Reddit the Tustin, CA store will have 600 Ryzen CPUs and will open at 7:30am instead of 10am.. People will supposedly be lining up tonight though, heh.

So far I've received my case and my heatsink waiting on tomorrow's reviews before going all in on platform. I plan to build during March break. This will be a month of sacrifice until the PC is built. I foresee many days of noodles ahead for me. xD

I didn't remember an email but just found it.... looks like they will hold until Sunday....( although I'll have it at 9am)

Looks like they took them off the website, when I checked early today mine stated they had 7 of 1700x left and 0 of 1800x.......... no link to them now at all..... hope my store doesn't open at 730am cuz I'm sure every MB will be gone by time I get there.
