There are a few manufacturers that sell AM4 compatible coolers or adapter kits. Noctua has both the AM4 version coolers and adapters for their other coolers.

SLIDE 10: Generational IPC uplift for the “Zen” architecture vs. “Piledriver” architecture is +52% as measured with SPECint06 compiled with GCC 4.6 –O2 at a fixed 3.4GHz. Generational IPC uplift for the “Zen” architecture vs. “Excavator” architecture is +64% as
measured with Cinebench R15 1t and SPECint06 compiled with GCC 4.6 –O2 at a fixed 3.4GHz.

Wow. They really blew away that 40% number.

EDIT: wait, wtf? did they get this backwards? The delta should be higher for Zen vs Piledriver than for Zen vs Excavator.

I already pre-ordered the Ryzen 1800X and ASUS X370 Prime bundle on Amazon, but there's no fan. Would rather not drop down to the 1700 just for a fan.

NewEgg doesn't let you search for AM4 compatible fans yet. I don't mind buying separate, so I hope they sort this out soon.

Mine is the Corsair Hydro Series H100i v2, not sure if it comes with an AM4 bracket, but from here it doesn't support out of the box, hopefully since it's bundled with the 1800x it comes with an adapter kit, otherwise I'll have to get it separate.

It would be odd for AMD to bundle with that AIO if it didn't support it. I bet it does.

It doesn't look like AMD bundled it, it looks like Amazon just bundled them together as a deal... Apparently Corsair is releasing an AM4 kit at some point, but if it is included or not is unknown.

Preordered the 1700 because it comes with the Wraith Cooler. Debating on going with 1700X or 1800X depending on reviews/more info in the next few days.

Argh, need ITX otherwise I'll just cancel preorder and wait.

Yep Had to Cancel mine as well till they start selling them with the newer Wraith coolers with light up Neon Led's.I for sure dont want any spire cooler!! that thing is ugly on so many levels and cools for crap. Not only that but the second I preordered my R 1800x they sold out of the Asus Hero board I wanted :( I guess I will have to try again in a few days..

Trying to see if I can come up with a search link for either Amazon or Newegg that would show all Ryzen mATX motherboards, but I'm stumped. Is that possible?

Preordered an 1800x. Though due to some weird behaviour of the shop I couldn't order a board yet. Thought I decided on the crosshair but not so sure anymore... damn ;)

Just search for AM4, not hard to narrow after that by searching on page.
For Newegg, at least, Amazon's search sucks, especially for computer hardware items.

Just preordered the Crosshair VI Hero on Amazon. Would have gone through Newegg, but it's "Auto Notify" now.

i don't understand. You are buying the best hardware, but won't buy a cooler? The wraith is at best 212 equivalent.

Here is the crosshair on amazon,

Because I have an ITX case. (Thermaltake Core V1). I'm limited by cooler choices. Dang I'll just cancel my preorder since I was hoping for the regular wraith until more choices are available. I may have to go with the Corsair H60.
